Hotel Solaria

Unfortunately we were place on the first floor (despite the resort being almost empty) and without a view. It makes you feel like a second class citizen... The location of resort is ok, although you will need a car if you want to get out of the mountain and see the beautiful towns in the valley or enjoy hikes nearby. The food at the restaurant of the Hotel nearby is terrible, but you can get amazing food in Osana and other places nearby. The staff is friendly and attentive.

As a normally winter resort, it was interesting for us to see it as used for a summer resort. We like hiking in the mountains, so we liked the property as summer resort. the beautiful surroundings and the vicinity of many sights were amazing and we enjoyed them all.

First time in Europe the view was beautiful went off season which I don't ski anyway but no restaurants, furniture old the look like they haven't been changed in 50 years. I walked in and walked back out. Sad

We stayed at Apartments by Albare, which is somehow affiliated with Hotel Solaria. The hotel was not open. I stayed there through an RCI exchange. The property was about 20 minutes from the closest town in the Dolomites, Mezzana. There was no shuttle available to and from the town and no restaurants near the resort. It was very confusing finding the reception area at the resort. Nothing was "user friendly" at this resort. I would not recommend staying here.
