Hotel Spinale

Great hotel starting with a friendly welcome. The rooms are spotlessly clean and well furnished. We loved the large balcony, which we used after a long walk. The village is delightful. The staff all friendly. Highly recommended, thank you for a great holiday and lovely memories.

Very disappointing experience with a '5-star' hotel, where we received a 1 or 2 star standard of accommodation and service. There was very loud music in the bar every night, two nights even louder with live music, which meant no sleep in room 114 on the first floor! We complained to staff 4 times, once in pyjamas, but little was done. We came to walk in this beautiful area, not party every night. The manager claimed no one had ever complained about the noise before. The second major issue was very poor choice and quality of vegetarian & gluten-free vegetarian food when we had communicated our diet needs before arrival - and the hotel website claimed to cater for such dietary needs. Each evening was a struggle to order. We were then served fish twice! The vegetarian food itself was quite basic, some repeated several times, small portions, limited or no effective choice for gluten-free; hugely disappointing. The offering compared to the meat eaters and the value for money for us was terrible. One evening there was no gluten free bread, as they had run out! We left some meals feeling hungry. First day we were rudely told we could not use the Spa because we had not booked when one one had told us we needed to do so. Last day we asked for packed breakfasts, as they had been offered as we were leaving early for our flight, staff checked and came back and said the kitchen said no. As it happens, two breakfast bags magically appeared, the gluten free vegetarian bag with two bread sandwiches and two cakes, completely inedible to someone with gluten intolerance. That sums the whole poor experience up. Really disappointing, two issues really ruining the holiday. We won't be coming back to Hotel Spinale.

What an amazing Hotel in a great location. The staff are amazing Sara in reception was so helpful and Lorenzo was a lovely young man, very polite and excellent at his job. The rooms were beautiful .Breakfast choices were so good and would for sure set you up nicely for a long day on the slopes, overall an amazing experience

Hotel Spinale is in a perfect location (for the ski slopes and the town) with outstanding facilities (wonderful pool and spa together with an outstanding restaurant and friendly bar). As GREAT as the hotel facilities are, the very best thing about this hotel is the staff service and culture.

A very pleasant holiday. Staff were very friendly and helpful. When our ski rental through our agency did not work out as expected, they fixed everything and included a day fri of charge. We were very impressed by the staff in all matters.
