Parkhotel Holzerhof

After reading the positive reviews we decided to spend a vacation in Maranza and were extremely happy with our choice. The hotel is situated at the end of a dead end road so the only traffic that enters is that of the guests and staff. It has superb views of the valley below and is surrounded by a well maintained garden and lake. It was just lovely. Our breakfast waitress was friendly and remembered our drink preferences every morning. During our stay a happy hour event was organised prior to the dinner. The food was so good (except the sushi) that we had a hard time finishing our evening meals which were equally delicious. What we really enjoyed at this hotel was the skypool and elegant relaxation areas. Just beautiful. The wellness centre is small but for a June vacation where the weather is warm, it was sufficient. The only detail that would have made this vacation perfect was a comfortable mattrass. Even with the extra padding requested it was uncomfortable. Thank you for a relaxing stay.

Simply wonderful, dream vacation......

Dream hotel in Val Pusteria, a fantastic location with a breathtaking view of the valley, clean and comfortable rooms, a restaurant with high-level cuisine and an excellent wine list, a spacious and relaxing infinity pool with heated water, a superb adults-only spa, and friendly staff ready to respond to every request!!! Everything was perfect; the only downside is having to return home!!!

We returned after 2 years from the first time and confirmed the great memory we had. From the quiet location we were looking for, to the great food, to the SPA which is among the best we found (respect for the sauna nourista for us fundamental and the pools cold water and hot water are top). Nothing to add except ... see you soon! And thank you for your hospitality!

Very good and quiet hotel, nice wellness, beautiful pool, highly recommended. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, dinner is a real treat every night. Room was spacious and tidy. Towels are changed and replenished in good time. Some small comments: there were no slippers available to the hotel, normally you have this at this class hotel... Although the welcome was friendly, such wellness hotels usually follow a small tour to show where everything is located, this was not the case here... Don't be put off by these minute comments, however, the hotel is very good, the staff very pleasant and the restaurant (both breakfast, lunch and dinner) is really excellent.
