Hotel Firenze

First, the location is top notch, very close to San Marco. It was easy for us to come back to hotel to rest from the heat. We arrived by private water taxi, very easy walk to the hotel without crossing any bridge. Even if you arrive by airport water taxi or vaporetto, it should be an easy walk, maybe crossing just one bridge? Room is clean, breakfast is great and the staff super friendly., gave recommendations to places to visit or to eat. They even gave us a gift at the end our stay.

Great location for 1st time visitors, just steps away from St Marks Square , prefect location to explore the whole of Venice by foot. Rooms traditionally decorated, clean but we did have an issue with our shower door , which was fixed with minimal inconvience. Breakfast good but serving arrangement a little strange but you get used to it. Staff on reception very helpful and in all a great visit to Venice. Room was quiet at the back of the hotel . Reasonable value given location

Great location, 2-3 minute walk from San Marco water bus stop. Very close to San Marco square Room was small (double bed) but beautifully decorated. Nice welcome treats of juice, water and little chocolate on the bed, shower over the small bath. Charming roof top terrace but could do with redecorating. Exceptional staff, especially Claudia, who was very helpful in suggesting places of interest to see. She organized our transport from Venice to the port and went the extra mile to take us to meet our water taxi to ensure he was there! Would highly recommend staying here.

We just returned from a stay at Hotel Firenze and cannot recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, everything about this place felt special. The hotel is immaculately clean throughout — rooms, common areas, all of it. The rooms themselves are beautifully decorated in classic Venetian style, perfectly temperature-controlled, and every day we came back to a lovely little goody waiting for us, a small touch that made the stay feel genuinely personal. Breakfast is wonderful and the setting — a room with Venetian stucco walls, Murano glass mirrors and lamps — makes it feel like an experience in itself. But the real star of Hotel Firenze is the staff. Extraordinarily friendly and helpful across the board, with a concierge who goes far beyond the typical "here's a map" service. He sat down with us, understood what we were looking for, and helped us craft a plan to explore the city that we never would have put together on our own. One of his suggestions was a genuine Venetian mask-making workshop at San Marco 596 Venetian Masks — one of the most memorable experiences of the entire trip. That kind of insider knowledge and genuine care for guests is rare. The location is unbeatable: 30 meters from Piazza San Marco, yet the hotel has a calm, intimate feel that keeps it from feeling like a tourist factory. If you're visiting Venice and want a clean, characterful hotel with staff who truly make your stay extraordinary, look no further.
