Lovely hotel, very clean, fab location especially if you enjoy walking to all the sites which are all close enough, the air con was a god send and breakfast was good, it is right onThe Grand canal with a pontoon where you can sit with a drink. Staff were all lovely too.

What a beautiful building and adapted so elegantly to become a functioning hotel. The decor is superb and throws you back to the classic Venetian style without compromising on facilities or space. Staff were super friendly and cooperative made you feel very welcome. Rooms are well equipped as are the bathrooms. Breakfast is generous and available 7.30-10.30 Its location is excellent and public water bus stop San Stae is 4 minutes walk. If arriving with luggage to San Stae there are stairs to navigate to the hotel over the side canals . The hotel has no lift but help is given with cases. Internet fast and reliable. I hope you enjoy your stay as much as I did.

A wonderful little hotel with comfortable bedrooms, a really great selection for breakfast and brilliant friendly staff. Special shout out to Sergio who went the extra mile to look after our travelling family of 6. This hotel offers all the charm that you want from Venice, rustic and original with lots of character. Perfect location for visiting all the main attractions, 10 minute walk to Rialto Bridge, and only 20 minute walk to St Mark's Square. The hotel is far enough from the main tourist areas, but not too far to be amongst it when required. The hotel is surrounded by some truly exceptional restaurants that were recommended to us by Sergio and they didn't disappoint. Must try Muro San Stae and Regina Sconta, both less than 5 minutes away. The hotel has a nice little bar, with generous servings and fantastic prices. If you're lucky enough to get a spot out the front to enjoy them, the views of the grand canal are stunning. Great hotel, great staff, great night's sleep amd great location.

Grand Canal view hotel about 5-10 minutes walk (5 min once you've worked out the route) from the Rialto Bridge. We had a big room on the third floor overlooking the Grand Canal, with the most comfortable hotel bed ever. Very clean; decent size bathroom. The reception staff were friendly, efficient and helpful. Breakfast is served on the second floor, and was plentiful and good - special thanks to AnnaMaria for her warm smiles and service. The hotel has it's own landing stage, so possible to arrive by water taxi rather than walking with suitcases through narrow streets and over bridges. However, there is no lift and the stairs (particularly the one to the third floor) are steep; you definitely do not want to be dragging a big heavy case up them.

The hotel has a great location and the staff were very friendly . Our room was on the ground floor and was nicely appointed but had little natural light and was very damp meaning a dehumidifier was constantly working away in the room , air conditioning was ok but not brilliant. The bathroom was dated , tiles broke and a bit of a challenge as the shower was under the stairs so you had to bend to have a shower ! The landing veranda on the canal had table a chairs supplied which was a nice touch. The hotel bar prices were very competitive so we spent a fair bit on time there .
