I stayed here for 4 nights on a Jet2 City Break. There was a warm welcome on arrival and despite it not being heavy my rucksack was carried up the stairs. My standard double room with ensuite bathroom was on the second floor overlooking a side canal. The room was traditionally furnished with white washed walls, speckled marble floor and dark wood. There was a Murano Chandelier and wall lamps. Great to have a hospitality tray for an early morning cuppa. My only issue which is minor was the TV as on selecting 401 for the BBC it turned out to be a channel advertising adult entertainment XXX!. It also didn't always switch off on the remote control. Breakfast was from 7.30, sit at the front for a view of the Grand Canal. It's buffet style with waitress service for the hot drinks. At night can recommend sitting out on the deck with a drink from the bar. The nearest water bus stop is only 5 minutes walk away. I arrived on the Alliguna Arancia from the Airport and due to an early flight back took the Vaporetto to the Bus Station and went by road to the Airport. San Marco Square is about 20 minutes walk or so via the Fish Market and Rialto Bridge but that does depend on how busy the streets are and whether you get lost which is part of the fun. Would definitely stay here again if in Venice.

We stayed at this hotel for three nights on a city break to Venice. The location is excellent - nice and easy to access via boat from the airport, it has its own dock. All of the team members we met were friendly, we were welcomed from the boat, bags were taken to our room etc. Our room was great - a good size and well equipped with plenty of storage and a freshly refurbished bathroom. It’s traditional in style and felt like we were somewhere typical of Venice, which is exactly what we wanted. Breakfast each day was fine - a decent range of hot and cold options. The bar was nice and reasonably priced too. The location is superb - not only easy to access as mentioned above, but really well placed to explore the whole city on foot. We walked all over Venice and would strongly recommend this hotel as a base when visiting the city.
