What can i say about this fantastic Hotel..First of all the hotel is in a fantastic location and steps away from St.Marks square..As soon as you arrive the staff treat you like family..Had an amazing room and it was spotless with fresh towels and Housekeeping was amazing..They knew my wife had a big birthday during our stay and there was a bunch of flowers and a birthday cake on her big day as we came back from a day of exploring and that meant the world to us ❤️They have got a lovely terrace as well for breakfast and drinks and of course smokers..Just want to say Thank You to Vito and all his amazing staff and the San Gallo Hotel for making our magical stay in venice even more magical..If you are thinking of staying in Venice then this hotel has to be 1 of your top choices to stay in this magical city ❤️❤️❤️

Right from the off the staff in San Gallo could not have been more helpful. We changed our booking a couple of times and it was never a problem, and they kept us up to date on everything right up until our arrival, including great info around the visitor tax, and the best way to get our bags to the hotel from the Alilaguna airport water shuttle. Always friendly and welcoming and super-keen to be of help, the staff in San Gallo go way above and beyond what's necessary to run a great wee hotel. The location is fantastic, between St Mark's Square (San Marco) and Rialto Bridge, with only a short walk to either. The room is quaint and quirky but also very comfortable with excellent air conditioning and a great powerful shower. The bed was firm and comfortable - for us at least - as well. If we make it back to Venice, which I hope we do, we would certainly book again at San Gallo!

Our family of 5 traveled to Venice at the end of June and we stayed at Hotel San Gallo based on reviews. We were not disappointed. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was perfect. The rooms were quiet and air conditioned. We are so thankful that we found Hotel San Gallo. They were great!!

Absolutely amazing experience at this hotel. We each had a personalised welcome card with our names on and they even left a birthday cake and candle in the room for my fiancées birthday. Every single staff member there was extremely friendly and helpful with big smiles on their faces. A big shout out to Victor who went above and beyond to make sure we were treated like royalty. The hotel is located literally right next to the Rialto bridge, so it was excellent. Everything right on your doorstep. Nice and quiet in the evenings and the lobby always had gentle music playing and air con. The rooms were set in pure Venetian style with a Venetian-modern style bathroom. There is also a terrace on the top floor to sit and have a drink. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING. We will definitely book to stay here again!

I had a great, unforgettable stay at the San Gallo HoteI. The location is perfect for exploring the major sights , with San Marco just round the corner and is only a short walk to the ferry to the airport. The atmosphere is entirely in tune with the eternal Venice, quaint, elegant decor featuring a lovely Murano glass chandelier, while the bathroom is unexpectedly modern with all the amenities. But what particularly impressed me was the thoughtfulness and the kindness of Vito the manager who was always there to lend a helping hand and to offer the best tips about where to eat and to go. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone who is making a stop in Venice. I would love to visit it again too.
