Couples Negril

Absolutely perfect resort friendly staff awesome food, and awesome beach rooms are well cared for. Highly recommend this resort. It’s worth the drive from Mo Bay. Visited for spring break in 2026 we will definitely be back.

We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and had a previous trip cancelled due the current conflict in the Middle East so we booked Couples Negril by chance at the last moment. It really was a blessing! We had the most amazing time, feeling completely spoilt by the all inclusive package which really did not disappoint. What was particularly amazing was the water sports available and all included. We tried some Scuba Diving (a taster included) and then decided to pay extra and get PADI certified and do the Open Water Scuba Diving Certification. This meant that once we had qualified we were able to do any other dives for free (all included). We ended up doing about 8 dives whilst there which was an amazing experience. I want to say a huge special thank you to Sugar who was our instructor, he is a real inspiration and we learnt so much and felt really supported and invested in. Also a big thank you to Omar, Courtney, Captain Willy, Richardo who also took us out on dives. Brittany who kept things running smoothly, and the rest of team that I haven’t been able to mention personally by name. They were all superb. Also I’d like to thank England who took us out sailing which was brilliant and finally Carmetta, the lady who served us regularly at the pool bar, always with a beautiful smile. 😊 The sun, the sea, the food, the entertainment and most importantly the people at Negril made this holiday extra special. The only improvements that could be made is the bathrooms are a little dated and shower could be more powerful, also it would really benefit to have more areas of shade at that pool and on the beach. Otherwise a perfect haven for love and relaxation. Much respect to the Negril team. Thank you, ❤️

We had to rebook a late notice Spring holiday 2026 due to the events in the middle east and settled eventually on Couples Negril Jamaica. This wasnt a destination we had ever considered seriously before but Wow i am so glad that we did, a 5 star experience from beginning to end... very clean throughout, very friendly staff in all areas, special mention to coffee shop team, fantastic beach and pools, Quality spa and entertainment options, really really good food options, when you say all inclusive you expect no additional hidden costs and this is exactly what we experienced, diving lessons and trips out, glass bottom boat trips, catamaran cruises, all food and drink, spa treatments , absolutely everything included. We had a deluxe ocean view room in block 4 and watched the sun set from our balcony every evening, it was quiet with a good mix of age groups with respect for everyone everywhere at all times, fabulous gardens, tennis and basketball courts as well as a games room with library. Only improvements i would like to see would be more powerful showers in the rooms and more beach shade in the form of permanently fixed thatched parasols on the beach, other than that its perfect.. really enjoyed the holiday and would recommend to everyone but be prepared for a challenging journey from the airport, extrement bumpy ride over 90 white knuckle minutes ..

Couples Negril-we had an enjoyable stay . It had many years since we last stayed and here is our observation : Service-Most of the employees were very good, bartenders were very quick and the restaurant servers were efficient . Food-some standout dishes and some very average ones. We appreciated the fresh fruits and salads in the mornings and lunch and the croissants were so good! We tried all the restaurants. Service in Otaheite was below average, server was an order taker . Did not check on us to see if we were enjoying the food and did not engage at all. We left and went to Casava for dessert and coffee. The server in the asian was the total opposite-she was lovely and engaging . The food was good there but the temperature could have been hotter . Rooms-A nice Caribbean feel to the room . We had to ask housekeeping to sweep and wash the floor as it was sandy and it wasn't done the day prior . Room service -missed our order called in the night before . Not sure how often the mini bar is refilled but my white wine was not replenished and the beer once in 5 days. The beach was nice the water was swimmable . Several people most days saved chairs early in the morning in the shade and disappeared for hours . That should be monitored . Really entitled to do that. Some small improvements would make the customer service experience exceptional. We will return as we do enjoy Couples resorts .

My husband and I had booked our vacation there from April 8th to the 15th. On the 12th, at around 5:50 p.m., we were heading back to our room when he decided to go into the Games Room to return a book. I was waiting for him outside, looking through the front glass door, when an employee (I didn’t catch his name) walked past me, mumbling something. Since I couldn’t understand him, I said, “Sorry?” He then repeated clearly: “You look taller in the reflection!” and walked away smiling, as if that were an appropriate or nice joke to make to a guest. I was shocked. For context, I am 5 feet tall. I am a Latin woman—and frankly, who cares? Not all women are from Germany or England, and that is completely normal everywhere. That employee waited until I was alone to make that rude comment, taking a liberty I never gave him. It was disrespectful and cowardly. That evening, we went to have dinner at Cassava Terrace, and he was there setting tables during what seemed like a training session with a more experienced employee. I was so upset that I didn’t even want to get close enough to find out his name, so we chose to eat somewhere else. The next day at the beach, while we were shopping, another employee (named Rasheda) stopped us, looked at me, and directly asked, “How tall are you?” I couldn’t believe it. I thought, “What—again? Did she stop us just to ask me that?” Feeling very uncomfortable, I replied, “I’m 5 feet.” She then looked surprised and said, “Wow!” At that point, I was honestly thinking, “This is getting ridiculous. Can a woman not be short here? What is going on? Are they living in a bubble?” After that, she tried to start a very awkward conversation, which ended with: “You look great for your age, guys!” Another disappointing interaction. I debated whether or not to write this, but I ultimately decided to share my experience, even though I’m not sure anything will be done. What I can say is that we will not be returning. To the management of Couples Negril: some of your staff do not know how to properly interact with tourists or with people from diverse backgrounds. I am a Latin woman who was harassed twice because of my physical appearance, and that is very serious. I hope this is addressed for the sake of other Latin couples who may consider staying at your resort—although I cannot recommend it.
