Couples Tower Isle

Just returned from a 2 week stay and we will be going again. We had specifically asked for a ground floor room due to mobility problems but the initial room allocation was awful. On upgrading the new room on the 5th floor was excellent overlooking the island, Mobility problems are not an issue as there are lifts and the grounds are level. The included shopping trip to Ocho Rios was not good. The driver took us to 3 places where he or the hotel were on a commission. You don't get to see Ocho Rios at all. You can visit Ocho Rios itself but if booked through the hotel costs $30 for the round trip. You can book an Uber for $8 to $10 each way. The facilities were perfect and the activities (snorkelling trips, kayak, hobie cat and catamaran cruise) were all included. Catamaran cruise is highly recommended. Fantastic afternoon out. The hotel was only about 50% full so there was never an issue with the availability of activities. The watersports guys were great as were the staff overall Snorkels and masks are only included for the boat trips and not for general use so if you want to snorkel off the beach then take your own We have no food allergies so the food choices were good although food tended to be a little over seasoned (salty). The buffet was varied and hot and tended towards different cuisines each day. The roast beef with yorkshire pudding was as good if not better than anywhere at home. Each day the puddings were lovely and definitely had an English slant. The breakfast staff can do a perfect poached egg which is my benchmark. One point : In Jamaica, vaping (and smoking) are only allowed under the sky ie not under a fixed roof including on terraces and balconies. Overall an excellent stay in a superb hotel

We just got back from Couples Tower Isle. Weather was great, food choices and restaurants all fantastic, so many choices for entertainment day and night but not hassled to join. Staff were mostly accommodating and friendly. Bar and pools lovely and clean, hotel not very full but we did think shade would be a problem at full capacity but ok for us. Transfer from the airport was fine. The place was spotlessly clean and mini bar replenished frequently. The choice of water sports included was also fantastic although cancelled on a couple of occasions due to wind/weather. Gala night, the steel pan drums and house band and singers and piano bar were all great. We had a wonderful time and the only slight problem we found was aircon in our room being extremely noisy. We found getting around and doing trips by yourself outside of the hotel easy and taxi/uber cheap.

We ended up staying here due to our holiday to the Maldives, like many, being cancelled. We were both disappointed by that and after much consideration we opted to visit Tower Isle instead of a few other options available to us, might have been the best thing that could've happened we stayed 1st May - 14th. Firstly, the negatives out of the way because that's what most people care about truly when looking at reviews. My only negative and complaint which I did raise with reception upon leaving was the "room service collection" which starts promptly, every morning at 5am, the collection trolley rattles through the hallways with the plates and cups and makes a fair ol' noise. However, once woken up, I make a coffee, sit on the balcony and watch the sunrise, so it's a blessing and a curse, and that is the only tiny blip on this 2 week holiday. The hotel itself is absolutely lovely, is it dated, yes. It's been around for a long long time so of course it is. It add to its charm, there's so many stories I'm sure the hotel could tell from then until now. We stayed in room 4207 and it was a fantastic room. We had incredible sea views, sunrise every morning with a coffee/fizz whatever you want. The bed is absolutely comfy enough to get some kip after each day. The bathroom facilities absolutely fine, hot and powerful shower. Large enough for two... Wardrobe could maybe be a smidge bigger with a few extra hangers but that's only if you're fussy and want everything hanging up but there's still plenty storage options, drawers and space. Mini fridge is well stocked, and repeatedly replenished, you can ask for different options too if there's some else you want. The gardens at the hotel are lovely to walk around, see the birds and the cats, plus the usual lizards and other creatures. The facilities I couldn't fault at all. The gym has enough equipment to work each muscle group and provides a great view at the same time. The pools are refreshing and cleaned every morning as are the two warm jacuzzis. The beach is very well maintained and kept clean, as are the beds and floating mats which are a great idea! For me though what sets this hotel apart, the staff and the all inclusive side of it. Hotel staff (should) always be happy and pleasant but at a lot of hotels you can tell this is simply because that's their job. At Tower Isle, each and every member of staff seemed genuinely happy to be working there and each interaction felt honest and welcoming. The staff will help you with anything and everything, so friendly and relaxed. The bar staff will make you anything you want, and they all have their own "special cocktail" so make sure you try each and every one of them! Stephen was our personal fave of the staff but they all deserve incredible praise for their work. Especially at meal times. Now the next biggest thing, all inclusive. In today's "all inclusive" world as a couple we only do all inclusive, adults only hotels. Tower Isle has stayed true to that with an incredible offering. The bar (most people's importance) fully stocked, every brand, every which way of almost anything. They don't do the stupid tier system every where does nowadays where is VIP level 1, 2, 3 VIP extra, VIP Plus and all that nonsense. Everything is included. Premium spirits, mixers, champagne etc etc. How all inclusive should be! Never change! As part of the all inclusive you get access to so many excursions and activities. I did tennis lessons with Colin, what a guy and he takes his tennis very seriously! But a fantastic coach. I also learned how to water ski. Never done before but after a short lesson we were on the water and I was water skiing. All included in the price, paddle boards, kayaks, snorkeling, just so much available. Something to do every day for 2 weeks! The food is also exceptional. We buffet breakfast every day, egg station for eggs however you want, fruit is delicious, pancakes, waffles etc etc. Fresh smoothies. Dinner and Tea options change every day but if you're there for two weeks like we were, you're absolutely going to see some foods more than once, which is great as they're all delicious! We didn't have a bad meal but I'm also not fussy with food and will eat everything (as long as it's tasty) Evening meals you have your buffet again but also the ability to book the restaurants, again these are all absolutely delicious! Our fave was the Eight Rivers. Incredible quality and choice, can have a bit of everything. First time I've ever had snails! Delicious. Book them all and book them again! Our final comment is easily the coffee shop at the hotel. What a brilliant idea. As coffee lovers having fresh, proper quality coffee makes a difference. Part of the all inclusive too, frappe, flat white, anything you want, just get it with Rum Cream! What turned out to be a runner up booking has probably become the best holiday we've ever had. We absolutely will be back!

I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding our recent stay at your hotel, which we specifically chose because it was advertised as a couples resort with a clear focus on romance, tranquility, and an intimate atmosphere. As honeymooners, this was particularly important to us. However, during our stay, the presence of a large school group consisting of approximately 45 teachers celebrating a 150-year anniversary, along with several other groups, significantly disrupted the romantic and serene environment we expected. The atmosphere felt more like that of a general group resort rather than a dedicated couples-focused property. Given the volume and nature of these groups, it was difficult to create or experience any sense of romance within the hotel grounds. In fact, we found that the only way to enjoy romantic time together was to leave the hotel entirely, which defeats the purpose of choosing a couples resort. Based on our experience, we feel that the hotel did not fulfil the ethos it advertises. The presence of large non-couples groups is fundamentally at odds with the romantic and intimate environment your brand promotes. We kindly request that you review how the property is marketed and how group bookings are managed, to ensure that future couples—especially those celebrating significant occasions—are not similarly disappointed. I look forward to your response and to understanding what steps will be taken to address this matter.

Great holiday, weather fantastic. Room perfect but dated but this hotel has alot of history and that's what sells it. Not enough shade around the pool or on the beach but they're going to sort that out. Quiet for us as whe are used to Rui (we were meant to be in Rui Palace Mauritius). We like white parties and foam parties, pool water balloon parties etc. Staff so friendly and a credit. Daytime entertainment lacking but like I said we're used to Riu. Tip for you, we didn't need the fridge filled with cranberry and ginger beer everyday as seems the the standard, we repeatedly asked for just 4 beers, 2 tonics and a pop but we never got it and had to request extra beer and for tonic which wasn't on the fridge list. However all that said we had a great time. If you sort the shade and daily entertainment out we'll be back x
