Hideaway at Royalton Negril

Holiday started great but unfortunately got let down by food and drink. Pool bar only served Coke and Sprite, so when your other half only drinks diet drinks it causes a problem . Then the pumps ran out of beer so the staff had to rush sround to get cans of Red Stripe down to the pool. Now the room fridge over 2 weeks they missed our room 4 times and I had to chase them up 3 times considering this is a 5 star hotel running at 40%capacity this is not good . Then to finish it off ordered room service had to chase order up after an hour and a half to then be told they had run out of burgers . It’s a shame as the staff cannot do enough got you and they get embarrassed that they have to make excuses for management short fall . Hotel shouldn’t have opened until everything was fully in place. The only positive on the food front was the buffet very good and you won’t go hungry

The room was nice. However, the cleaners failed to leave towels. Request for a standard iron was a hassle. The only thing adults only was the room. Everything else was a common area, ie eating areas and entertainment. Also, the buffet closed and reopened after each meal. It was not continuously open. I guess it was for transitioning from breakfast to lunch and lunch to dinner. The closure didn’t make sense. Lastly, getting ice was difficult. There was an ice bucket but no ice machine.

Our stay was phenomenal! THE atmosphere was party, party! We had the location, swim out room across from the poolside bar (8024) BEST room on the resort. Big up to the pool bar staff Chana, Nickoy, Donavan, Karen, Asani, Ryan. Big up to Dj Keano. Server O'Brian. Housekeeping Andreka! You all made our stay excellent!

Our anniversary stay at Royalton Jamaica was unfortunately very disappointing. We were excited about this trip and expected a much better experience, especially for a special occasion. From the beginning, we experienced several issues, including problems with our room, power and water interruptions, cleanliness, the shower, television, phone, mini-fridge, towels, and other basic room amenities. These issues made it difficult to enjoy what was supposed to be a relaxing anniversary vacation. Our beach dinner was another major disappointment. The food was served cold, several items were missing, and we did not receive dessert. This was supposed to be a special experience, but it ended up being frustrating and disappointing. I also experienced an allergic reaction during our stay, and I was disappointed that this concern was not adequately addressed afterward. We also had an issue involving a missing/stolen ring that I reported, and I have been disappointed with the lack of meaningful follow-up regarding that situation. After returning home, I contacted customer support and explained everything in detail. Unfortunately, the response I received did not address several of my biggest concerns. I have since followed up again and am still waiting for a proper response. I also want to clarify that there was an issue involving a guest/child at the resort. I did not assume the guest’s age, as was suggested in the response I received. I know what I observed and have photographs documenting the situation. I am sharing this review because I believe guests should know that while every vacation can have unexpected issues, what matters is how a resort responds when those issues are brought to its attention. We were really looking forward to celebrating our anniversary at Royalton Jamaica, but unfortunately, the experience did not meet our expectations. I hope management takes the concerns seriously and uses this feedback to improve the experience for future guests.

My husband and I just returned from the most lovely vacation we have ever experienced. We have been to many places in the past so to give a 5 star review is not a normal thing for me to do. We arrived to celebrate our anniversary and spread the ashes of my father-in-law who loved Jamaica. Melissa (our butler), Donovan (our bartender), and Talliah (our server) were so incredible!! I was instantaneously drawn to their hard work and dedication! The resort itself was beautiful with so many things to do ranging from an arcade to casino. It had continues activities both for families and adults and plenty of food to "feed and army." This experience was definitely in my top 3 places I have traveled in the past and as far as the staff I mentioned above, they are priceless to the experience here!!!
