Royalton Negril

Let me start off by saying this was our first time visiting Negril Jamaica, and staying at the Royalton. We had the most wonderful time ever when I tell you we didn’t want for anything Gregory and Chantae was absolutely amazing they did everything we asked of them from making reservations to making sure our rooms were taking care of I mean they waited on us for everything this was the best experience ever. I truly appreciate everything we couldn’t ask for better people to take care of us. I want to say thank you so much for everything. I didn’t personally get to thank Chantae before she left for the day. I can’t wait to come back again and I would love to have Gregory and Chantae as my butler’s I wouldn’t have it no other way. I hate we didn’t get to take any pictures together but there will be another time. Thank you for making our trip so awesome.

I stayed at Royalton Negril for two weeks as part of a 30 guest wedding party, and the resort was clearly not ready to reopen. We were moved through multiple rooms due to serious faults, sewage leaks, broken fixtures, unsafe electrics, and even a whirlpool bath that pumped out brown, stagnant water. In our final room, electricians were appeared to replace sockets that we were unaware off, yet the issues of lights coming on and off through the day and night continued. Shockingly, basic furniture only arrived on day 12, proving the room was never properly prepared. Diamond Club was a waste of money. Benefits were inconsistent, food and drink options constantly unavailable, and the swim‑up pool was poorly maintained with cloudy water and debris. Many of our wedding party experienced similar problems, so these issues are not isolated. When our holiday rep contacted management, a manager named Nicki refused to accept any responsibility at all. The lack of care for guest wellbeing and the emotional impact of the situation was staggering. Frontline staff tried their best, but the resort was nowhere near operational. Our holiday was dominated by disruption, unsafe conditions and a complete absence of accountability.

I don’t know who designed this hotel but it is NOT designed for comfort. I stayed in Building 4, with the swim up pool. I’ve never heard loud, crunchy sheets. The couch is loud and crunchy. The toilet has the loudest flush I’ve ever heard! You also hear EVERYTHING - the maintenance/service staff walking on the paved grounds with their mop buckets and other equipment at all hours of the night, toilets flushing from guests above and next to you, guests walking in the rooms above. The minibar was not stocked and we had to ask for it to be stocked. What went well: the room was cleaned everyday, staff were very friendly and helpful, food at the buffet was good, the coffee bar excellent.

Came for my friend’s birthday and it was theee best time ever! All of the staff were great, but our Butler’s Yonique and George really went above and beyond for us!! Diamond Club is a must! We truly enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to come back! Thank you #TeamYG

We had a wonderful time! Our butlers Nicholas and Michelle were very thoughtful and attentive. The Royalton staff made us feel like friends being welcomed to their home. This was obvious with everyone we encountered. The food and drinks were great, the best part was our poolside Jamaican food served daily. Twinkles and Captain Kirk kept the entertainment lively at the pool. Thank you Royalton staff for a truly unforgettable experience. We can’t wait to come back!
