Royalton Negril

This is a beautiful resort with many dining options. Our butler Dorrett was amazing and very accommodating. Highly recommend.

My husband I had a great time! Our butlers Susan and Dorrett were absolutely amazing, they made sure we had everything we needed for our stay and checked in with us throughout the day as well. Tevin and Teresha are the best bartenders! Look for them at the lobby bar. Javid was always very polite and helped us get from one end of the resort to the other. Food was good, highly recommend Calypso restaurant. I liked that there was entertainment every night, for the adults and kids. We will definitely be back, all the staff here are so amazing.

It was the worse hotel experience I've ever had in the world. We went there to get checked in at 3:00pm and it took almost four hours to get that done. Upon reaching the rooms the door was not working, that took an additional forty minutes for it to be opened. Upon entering the room it was not done. The beds for the kids was not made neither were there any pillows or sheets for them. We went to get dinner and even watch the nights entertainment and before we went there we made mention to the lobby of the situation with the intention of returning to the rooms hoping that the matter would have been resolved. Unfortunately it was not. We had to call again for them to fix it. We requested for new or clean towels and that too was not done. They made promises to do better and nothing was done. We live in Kingston and it was a long drive to get there only to have received the worse hotel experience. I would not recommend that hotel to anyone.

ROYALTON Negril is an absolutely gorgeous resort located roughly 1.5 hours drive from the Montego Bay airport. From the stunning entrance, to the terraced dining experiences, and beautifully decorated and well kept and clean staterooms, we enjoyed our time there immensely. We are Bonvoy members and found this a great value for the points paid. We actually moved rooms due to a bit too much noise for us by the amphitheater and was satisfied to be relocated to one of the buildings that flanked the ends of the property. The staff was not only courteous, but you could tell that there is an attitude of “honoring your elders” and as such we received the graciousness of care, patience, and additional services of an attentively astute staff. As a result of all of these element, we plan to return as often as possible.

Wonderful beach, clean resort, service is great, Romaine and Dwight were always ready to help and did amazing. The drive from the airport to the hotel was way too long, hopefully they will fix the roads for the travel time to be better in the futur. Will definetly go back if the time getting to the hotel or negril takes less time. The buffet was repetetive, alot of choices, the food in the restaurants is the same as other Royaltons. The best was hunters restaurant and the jerk chicken takeout place. In general I would go back for the beach, water and the service.
