Sunset at the Palms Resort Spa

Wow! Wow! Wow! What an amazing stay we had here. Our room was just perfect overlooking the field of goats and providing a great nights sleep. The resort itself is beautiful, and rustic looking with amazing grounds which are well cared for. Yes, there are a few cats that live in the resort (not many) but they are no bother. If they sit near your table , just ignore them or gently shoo them away. Daisy cat was just beautiful and the most gentle cat I’ve ever met. We did feed them but they are actually well looked after. We loved all the food options although the chefs showcase was our favourite. Eating breakfast al fresco was just divine too. The beach is across the road (there are friendly staff to help you cross) which is about a 2 min walk away. No problem at all! And the walk is well worth it. It is the most beautiful beach with golden sand and sea as warm and clear as bath water. We swam with fish and stingray which was brilliant! What really makes this resort though is the staff. Huge thank you to Jason and Tameika in the restaurants who looked after us. Tameika voice is amazing, always singing. Paul on the piano was lovely to listen to most evenings whilst sipping a Martini. To be honest though, all the staff are absolutely fantastic from reception, concierge, restaurants, bars, housekeeping, beach, road patrol - everyone always smiling and very helpful. We had coffee most days from the Blue Coffee Cafe which was perfect especially the Jiggy Coffees! We went on a snorkelling trip with Henri one morning. He’s a local and a very knowledgeable guy. We had a great time. Definitely recommend! You can often see him driving his boat along the bay just offshore. Give him a wave and he’ll come over. It is a quiet resort but that’s what we wanted. We had the most relaxing holiday with quiet evenings listening to Paul. We also met some lovely people from the US and here in the UK. If you want an all singing and all dancing resort, then this is not the place for you. But if you want good food, to chill, relax and meet new people, the Palms will not disappoint. Will we be back? Oh yes, absolutely? Hopefully the same time next year. Thank you so much!

We traveled to the sunset at the Palms in Negril, Jamaica for our anniversary! The staff was excellent, friendly, and kind. Jason is a waiter who provided exceptional service, Gerald and Sherlen the bartenders were excellent. The resort offered intimate atmosphere and the beach was clean and beautiful! The rooms were a treehouse experience which was a great change from the norm! The value of trip was very reasonable for the experience with all inclusive and wonderful variety of Jamaican cuisines. The resort was not heavily populated which made it a must do again! Thanks for the wonderful memories Palms staff. We will definitely be coming back!

This resort is simply one of the best. the people, the site, the service, the food, the room, the magnificient beach. We took 10 days and usualy after 10 days we want to go back home, not this time if we knew we would a take 14 days. The calm and quiet place to relax. Thanks to all people who work there, everyone. Sunset at the Palms was perfect from start to finish. The resort is stunning, peaceful, and beautifully maintained, but what truly made our stay extraordinary was the incredible staff. I want to give a special shout‑out to Krystal, the Wedding Concierge, who went above and beyond for us. She helped me plan the engagement with care and creativity, and when we decided to elope on the spot (well - two weeks before arrival. Paperwork was still needed!!), she somehow managed to customise a wedding that felt personal, thoughtful, and completely “us". There were only the two of us, so these small details were important. Krystal was everything we could have asked for. Thanks to her, our engagement and elopement were not only stress‑free but unforgettable. Sunset at the Palms will always hold a special place in our hearts. Next time we're in Jamaica, we'll be visiting again. Andrew and Laura

The beach, the sunset, the staff, and even the driver are reasons that this will be my new spot for my Jamaica trips. The good is okay, but as long as I get my oxtail and salt fish and ackee fix I'm a happy woman! As a solo woman travelling I felt completely safe. I was concerned about the beach being across the street, but it really wasn't an issue or bother. Definitely bring insect repellant though, because the mosquitoes are hungry! I 100% recommend if you are looking for a quiet safe space to detox from the world and unwind.
