Sunset at the Palms Resort Spa

This was our second time at SATP I only can say WOW! It was our 30th wedding anniversary! The staff made our stay extremely rememberly. Nadine went above and beyond, my nail fell off and she remembered the next day and brought super glue from home and glued my nail back on! Tamika is the sunshine at SATP. Impeccable service always smiling and singing! She took it upon herself on our last dinner to decorate our table so beautiful! Claudette always making our breakfast a pleasure. Odine with his killer smile will make you a wonderful drink! Damien goes above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable poolside! Brenda at the spa has hands of an angel! The message was incredible! Brittany, Kurt,Jason, Shaniqua, Shirleen, Shalik, Patrick and Cash I just can't say enough about the service, they truly treat you like family! I will see you all again soon! Thank you all again for making our vacation so special ❤️

We stayed here last year and our experience was obviously great or we wouldn't have returned :-) The staff here are amazing. We could name so many who went out of their way to make our stay the best they could. From Linford the gardener with his obvious love of the grounds to Jason "put it on my tab" who went out his way to ensure we had great service to Shannon who always had our coffee ready in the morning through to Shirlene teaching us cocktail recipes and the many others who made our stay so much more than a holiday. No review would be complete without mentioning the incredible Paul Tucker, piano player and entertainer extraordinaire! Despite his best efforts he couldnt find a key I could sing in but that didnt stop him and me trying :-)) The location is truly lovely; the grounds and the beach are wonderful. You can compare it to other hotels and point out that the food at others is better in some aspects, that the facilities are more modern at others, etc. What makes this place unique is the way it makes you feel when you are there - truly welcome, completely relaxed and wanting to return from the moment you leave. We will be returning when we are able to and that about says it all!

My wife and I spent a wonderful week at SATP this past August. We highly recommend this resort. We found that the property lives up to everything they promises on their website. The resort is beautiful, well-manicured, clean and safe. We were looking for three things in our choice of a resort in Jamaica: 1. Adults only 2. All inclusive 3. Small boutique resort We found all three of these criteria at SATP. The rooms are a delightful bend of Balinese and Jamaican creating a relaxed, chill vibe throughout the resort. The rooms are spacious and very clean. We enjoyed the balcony very much. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are well appointed. One of the highlights for us was the service provided by the staff. The staff was very attentive, friendly and genuinely wanted to help ensure that our stay at SATP was memorable. The staff even organized a private cooking class for me because of a mix up in their schedule. That was over-the-top service! We really appreciated it! Another highlight for us was the beach. Before we arrived, we wondered if having the beach across the street would be a big deal (we typically enjoy beachfront accommodations). For us, walking a few steps across the street was no big deal...and the short walk to the beach was totally worth it. The beach is stunning. Every day we had our own private palapa. The service at the beach was on point. The SATP beach was what we hoped it would be - quiet, private and ideally located. Another highlight was the pool. Every afternoon we would walk from the beach to the pool to enjoy getting to know other guests and sipping on a cocktail. The pool is la bit larger than it appears on videos. It is beautiful, clean and set in a stunning garden. We loved it. We also enjoyed the entertainment provided by SATP. The entertainment fit the vibe at SATP - kind of low key, chill, but high quality. The only two critiques (and these are mild critiques) are: - the food was good but we would have enjoyed more variety. The buffet offers quite a variety of food but the choices at the buffet felt like variations on the same dish. That said, we could tell that the kitchen staff worked very hard and was very proud of the food served to us. - One slight knock on our room was that the air conditioning in the room didn't reach the bathroom very well and the bathroom was a little warm. However, we like things very cold in our rooms so this may not be an issue for other guests. If you scroll through all the reviews below, you will find a few negative reviews. Reading those reviews prior to arrival caused us to question whether or not we made the right choice. We even thought about cancelling. However, we are very glad we went to SATP. We didn't experience any of the complaints listed below. We would not hesitate to return to SATP. We highly recommend this property.

We recently got back from an absolute dream vacation at Sunset at the Palms Jamaica in beautiful Negril. If you are tired of identical, chaotic mega-resorts and want a peaceful, intimate paradise, this boutique, adults-only sanctuary is exactly what you need. The unmatched Jamaican hospitality truly elevates this entire experience. All the personnel at the hotel are absolutely great, and they genuinely make you feel like family. Right when we arrived, we were welcomed by Jason, the first waiter we met at the resort. He immediately set the perfect tone for our entire vacation! Jason is extremely friendly, welcoming, and incredibly easy to talk to. He is so funny and has this amazing way of instantly putting you in a nice, calm, and happy mood. We also loved spending time with Marin! We always had such nice, wonderful chats with her throughout our stay. On top of that, Miss Kadian is a brilliant manager. She is very helpful and makes sure any issues or concerns you have are solved quickly and always with a warm smile. Getting to connect with people like Miss Kadian, Marin, and Jason brought so much extra joy to our days. The accommodations themselves are a total highlight. Instead of a standard hotel room, you stay in your own private, elevated treehouse cabin surrounded by 10 acres of lush, vibrant tropical gardens. Waking up to the sounds of nature, enjoying a morning coffee on the large private balcony daybed, and being surrounded by exotic birds felt like living in a luxury jungle retreat. The beach is pure bliss. It is located just across the street, and the resort’s wonderful crossing guards safely guide you over the road in less than two minutes. Once your feet hit that soft, white sand, it’s paradise. The water is perfectly calm and crystal clear. Plus, the beach club features an incredible beach bar where you can grab a cold Red Stripe and feast on the most delicious, authentic beachside jerk chicken for lunch. Sunset at the Palms is a magical, low-key oasis where you can truly unplug, relax, and soak up the best vibes Jamaica has to offer. I am already counting down the days until I can return! Ya man!

The Sunset was a great place to go to relax. From the moment we check in to when we checked out we were treated exceptionally. The beach was beautiful and plenty beach chair to go around. The food was great and the al a cart restaurant were amazing. We will definitely be back.
