Absolutely amazing holiday and a wonderful troop of people work for Baobab. I was totally mesmerised with the quality of services provided to my family and I.

Everything was outstanding. Big resort but easy to get around. Staff always friendly and so helpful. Snorkeling trip amazing as was scuba diving and turtles! A la carte restaurants well worth the money and very special. Loved every second of it and I very rarely leave a review. Thank you!

After an incredible safari adventure, Baobab Beach Resort & Spa was the perfect place to slow down, unwind and soak up some much-needed tranquillity. What an absolute paradise! From the stunning surroundings and beautiful beaches to the fantastic facilities, delicious food and entertainment, we could not have asked for a better way to end our trip. But what truly made our stay unforgettable was the people. The staff at this resort are an absolute credit to the hotel, and the warmth, hospitality and genuine kindness we experienced from everyone we encountered deserve the highest praise. Everywhere we went, we were greeted with smiles, cheerful faces and a genuine willingness to help. The staff were always happy to see us, making us feel welcome, valued and right at home. It is these little things that make such a big difference and turn a lovely holiday into an exceptional one Karibu Restaurant- A special mention must go to Rabecca, whom we first met at the Karibu Restaurant. What an amazing human being! She is such a thoughtful, helpful and genuinely beautiful soul. Nothing was ever too much trouble for her, and she always went out of her way to make sure we were happy and comfortable. We had some lovely chats with her, and her warmth and kindness made every visit to the restaurant even more enjoyable. Rabecca, you are a wonderful asset to this team, and I sincerely hope management recognises the special person you are! Ajema also deserves a mention for her constant smiles and cheerful demeanour whenever we saw her. She always had such a lovely presence about her, and it was a pleasure seeing her throughout our stay. Robinson, the true gentleman, would regularly come over to our table to check that we were okay, enjoying our food and having a lovely evening. That level of attentiveness and genuine care does not go unnoticed. Thank you for making sure we were always well looked after! And now, SAFARI… this man deserves a round of applause and a PAY RISE! 😂👏🏽 Safari went above and beyond to ensure my mum was properly looked after when dining at Karibu. He took the time to speak directly with the chef to explain her dietary requirements, and the chef would kindly prepare something especially for her. We thought this was such a thoughtful and considerate gesture. It meant so much to know that my mum could enjoy her meals without feeling uncomfortable or having to worry about what she could eat. Safari, thank you for showing such compassion, thoughtfulness and genuine care. And a huge thank you to the chef, too, for accommodating her so kindly. These are the moments that stay with you long after a holiday ends. Exceptional customer service from people who genuinely care. You are all amazing! 🔥 The Jambo Team – WOW, JUST WOW! Where do I even begin with the Jambo entertainment team?! These guys are absolutely exceptional and so dedicated to their craft. We genuinely looked forward to the daily activities around the pools and the evening shows they hosted. They brought so much energy, enthusiasm, professionalism and personality to everything they did. Watching them was an absolute joy! Their performances were phenomenal. The grace, strength, coordination, commitment and sheer abundance of energy they displayed were incredible. You could see the hard work and dedication that went into every performance, and they deserve to be recognised for it. Every single member of the Jambo team should be incredibly proud of themselves. You made our evenings memorable! The acrobatic team deserves a massive shout-out, too. Those stunts were AMAZING! The strength, skill and fearlessness on display were incredible to watch. What a talented group of performers! Perhaps management could even consider friendly dance battles with other entertainment teams in Diani—what a fantastic addition that would be. Imagine the talent, creativity, music and energy all coming together showcasing. #Just a thought.. A special thank you to Michael, (Mike), from the Jambo team, who kindly took the time to teach me how to play Bao, volleyball and pool. Appreciated your patience, encouragement and willingness to help me learn were lovely, especially when it came to volleyball because I was rubbish but tried 🤭!! Thank you for making the activities even more enjoyable and for being so approachable. The Bar Team – A big thank you to all the bar staff for keeping the drinks flowing and always accommodating us with a smile. Your hard work and friendly service were very much appreciated. And Remy, your mixology skills deserve a special mention! The drinks we sampled were fantastic, and you clearly have a real talent for creating delicious cocktails. Keep doing what you do because you are brilliant at it! 🍹👏🏽 The resort itself offers so many wonderful places to sit back, relax and unwind. There is an abundance of comfortable sofas, chairs and peaceful spots where you can simply enjoy your surroundings, read a book, have a drink or do absolutely nothing at all. After the excitement of our safari, having somewhere so beautiful and tranquil to recharge was exactly what we needed. A heartfelt thank you to the spa ladies for your grace, professionalism and expertise during our revitalising spa experience. It was absolutely wonderful and the perfect way to relax, recharge and indulge in some much-needed pampering after our safari adventure. You made the experience feel special, and we left feeling thoroughly relaxed. I would highly recommend the spa to anyone visiting the resort. Make sure you treat yourself; you won’t regret it! Of course, we cannot forget the monkeys! These cheeky little characters certainly kept things entertaining. As expected, they are very much up to their own tricks, so do keep an eye on your food and any fruit in your drinks, because they will happily seize an opportunity to help themselves! Consider yourselves warned! 🐒 They certainly add a little extra character to the resort! Baobab Beach Resort & Spa is so much more than a beautiful resort. It is the people who bring it to life. The warmth, kindness, hospitality, professionalism and genuine happiness we experienced from the staff made our stay truly special. Management, please continue to recognise and invest in your staff. People like Rabecca, Ajema, Robinson, Safari, Mike, Remy the entire Jambo team, house keeping, spa ladies, waiters, grounds men attending to the foliage are what make guests remember a resort long after they have returned home. They are a credit to Baobab Beach Resort & Spa and to Kenyan hospitality. We would recommend this resort without hesitation and would happily return. We had an absolutely amazing stay at Baobab Beach Resort! We came here for our honeymoon, and we couldn’t have chosen a better place to celebrate such a special occasion! The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by stunning tropical gardens, with breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean. Everything is well maintained, and the whole resort has such a lovely, relaxing atmosphere. Our room was always spotlessly clean, beautifully tidied up, and well taken care of every single day. A huge thank you to the housekeeping team for doing such a fantastic job! The food was absolutely delicious! There was a great variety of dishes, everything was fresh and tasty, and we always looked forward to our meals. But what truly makes this hotel special is the incredible people who work here! Everyone is so friendly, kind, welcoming, and genuinely happy to help. They make you feel at home from the very first day. We would especially like to mention a few wonderful people who made our stay even more memorable! Stara, who works in the restaurant, is such an amazing girl! She taught us some basic Swahili phrases and even how to count to 10! We had so much fun learning from her. Such a lovely, cheerful person with a beautiful personality! Juma is an incredibly kind and helpful guy\! He helped us with our luggage and was always so friendly and welcoming. Samuel, who works by the pool, was always smiling, positive, and ready to help. His great attitude and friendly personality made every day by the pool even better! We would also like to give a very special thank you to Abeid, who also works by the pool. He is such an incredibly kind, warm-hearted, and always smiling person! When he found out that we were celebrating our honeymoon, he surprised us with a wedding gift. It was such a beautiful, thoughtful, and touching gesture that meant more to us than words can express. We will never forget his kindness, and this special gift will forever hold a place in our hearts. Thank you so much, Abeid, for making our honeymoon even more unforgettable! And of course, the amazing guys at Tapa Tapa Bar! They made absolutely fantastic cocktails and always served them with a big smile! Great drinks, great atmosphere, and such a wonderful team. Kenya is an absolutely beautiful country, but what makes it truly unforgettable is its people. Kenyans are some of the kindest, warmest, and most welcoming people we have ever met. We completely fell in love with this country and its wonderful atmosphere! Our honeymoon was everything we could have wished for and more. We are leaving with unforgettable memories, big smiles, and a special place in our hearts for Kenya and Baobab Beach Resort. Excellent stay at the Hotel; staff were very friendly, and accomodating. Everyone showed such politness in their approach to guests, which was so welcoming. Special shout out to Julius, who not only performed such amazing acrobatics but also was very kind and curteous to us, when playing shuffleboard. Alot of laughs, Thanks to the team - would love to come back!
