Kenya Bay Beach

Booked this hotel through TUI and honestly I cannot believe they are still offering this on their website . We have been TUI customers for some years now and was totally shocked when we arrived in September 2026 for a 14 night stay. Upon arrival we were told our room wasn’t ready and upon showing it to us we were disgusted at the condition of the room in particular the bedding where we had found stains and mold on all the pillows and the bathroom had rust stains and dirt inside the bath tub. After showing us a second room which was exactly the same we declined and After speaking to the TUI rep . We were then offered a so called deluxe room which was only slightly better until upon attempting a shower the next morning standing in the bath to find an enormous crack in it exactly where you would stand ! Needless to say after some discussion with our TUI rep again who was extremely helpful And understanding we were finally moved to another hotel. Basically this hotel looks like it has not had any refurbishment since it was first built and it shows! My advice would be to totally ignore the so called good reviews and avoid it at all costs!

To say this hotel is run down is an understatement. I stayed for 10 nights in Sept 2026 and was very disappointed. The whole hotel needs major investment. It has 2 great assets, location right on the beach and the staff who are great! However, the lack of hot water in the room, the dated bathrooms, poor WiFi, cold food in the restaurant, ran out of rum and vodka for a few days, poor condition of the pool and a half built 2nd pool and poor fixtures and fittings mean I would never go back and would never recommend it. Worst of all we're the cats everywhere. One evening I counted 15 cats in the restaurant. The staff in there did nothing to remove them and in fact I swapped them feeding them on several occasions. I travelled with TUI and they should be ashamed of themselves. Furthermore, hardly any brits in the hotel, I was the only one for 4 days. If you're Polish and/or a cat lover, you'll love this place but it's not for me!

Staff were great and tried there best! That's the only good thing I can say. Hotel and grounds, shocking! Very dilapidated, dirty, no WiFi, one pool "working", broken tiles in the pool to cut your feet other pool not finished. We had no beer for two days, as they run out! One day at lunch we went to get a drink to be told we couldn't have one as they were cleaning the bar! Great timing, wouldn't even give us a bottle of water. Food, there wasn't enough and they were not replenishing the food from around 8.30pm. Dinner is supposed to be served till 9.30pm. My Husband was told on two occasions, no more sorry! We had 4 rooms whilst there, consistent problems... No hot water the whole time!! No air con, smashed window, dirty lampshades.. The last straw in another room we moved to... animal faeces all on the floor, over the fridge and on the bed!!! DO NOT STAY HERE

The location, food and staff never fail. I was part of huge family wedding party, initial glitches were quickly sorted. Chef Imran thank you. Management and Staff are always amazing, this was my 6th trip. Lovely upgrades happening.

The location is the absolute hook !! The beachfront ambience at sunset is priceless. Room 116 was nice and comfy , AC worked well and all the plug sockets were accessible. The bed ensured a good nights sleep. A real standout was the qualty and variety of the food - really good. Overall a wonderful stay - despite the chaos of a pre wedding non stop party atmosphere for 3 days !!
