Swahili Beach Resort

An exceptional resort with a truly unique Swahili and Arabic-inspired design. The architecture is beautiful and gives the whole place a very special atmosphere. The staff were extremely friendly, professional, and always attentive to guests. You can really feel the Kenyan hospitality everywhere in the resort. The pools are stunning, the gardens are very well maintained, and the beach is just a short walk away with soft white sand and warm Indian Ocean water. The restaurants offer delicious food with a great variety, and the sunset views from the resort are unforgettable. Overall, a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the beauty of Diani Beach. The Swahili beach is the most beautiful hotel we have seen with it’s elegant Swahili architecture and gordeous gardens. Where else can you see Colobus monkeys right by your room?. The staff were great and the food reasonable buffet style. However, the hotel could benefit from a bit more attention to detail. Both the sinks and shower in the room were blocked. There was no hot water for two days. A plumber did arrive and managed to fix the problems. The battery in the safe needed replacement on our arrival. All of these could have been spotted had the rooms been checked before our arrival . Fix this and the hotel is truly world class. Particular thanks to the following staff -they really went the extra mile for us: Dining Room - Francesca, Adam, Kevin and Pacifica Trainee chefs - Edward and naomi Beach side-Abdulla We hope to return - but please do the room checks ahead of time!

We stayed here for 5 days to relax after a safari. The hotel is stunning, beautiful buildings, grounds and beach. We stayed in a superior room which was very spacious, clean and comfortable. All the staff were amazingly friendly and helpful and worked hard. We especially liked the beach bar area as it was cooler than at main pool area. The bar here served lovely food and drinks all day. Thanks to all staff at this hotel.

I stayed at Swahili Beach Resort during a three-day business conference and had an amazing experience. The resort provided a comfortable and professional environment, with well-organized conference facilities and excellent service throughout our stay. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. A special appreciation goes to the housekeeper, Millicent, whose warm, hospitable welcome and exceptional attention to detail made our stay even more pleasant. Her dedication truly stood out and made us feel well taken care of. The staff were friendly, the food was great, and the overall atmosphere was perfect for both work and relaxation. We highly recommend Swahili Beach Resort for business trips and leisure stays alike.

Delightful and memorable family experiences to sum up our stay at Swahili Beach Hotel in December 2025. We had such a wonderful time. The level of excellence in all aspects of the hotel are key part of the experience; the friendly, helpful and professional Staff, the Swahili inspired design of the rooms, the amazing restaurants - Indian and Japanese that we enjoyed immensely as a family, the amazing gardens with local trees, extravagant greenery including a Baobab Tree, the optimally sized numerous swimming pools - that allow for private experiences - that caress the different levels of the land to a naturally cool beach densely covered with Palm trees and an amazing beach front restaurant that captivated the Grand Parents and Children. It's a gem! We will definitely return to Swahili Beach
