Swahili Beach Resort

Lovely hotel, staff amazing, food amazing. Huge shoutout to the Spice route, which served some of the best Indian food we’ve ever had. Big thanks in particular to Gilbert from the Spice Route and Silas, our evening room attendant, both of whom were an absolute testament to the hotel.

We stayed at Swahili Beach Resort for five days as a group of seven at the end of a family holiday around Kenya. It was a very special trip as we were taking our 85-year-old grandmother, and inevitably a little daunting going to a hotel with her. However, we wanted to share how pleased we were with our experience. This was primarily due to Millicent, the Executive Housekeeper, who really transformed our stay. From ensuring there was someone to assist my grandmother in her wheelchair whenever we needed, to organising her meals at a time that was convenient for her, she was always willing to support us and go out of her way to make our experience incredible. Her kindness and support made such a difference to our family and made an already special trip even more memorable. We are incredibly grateful to Millicent and the whole team at Swahili Beach Resort.

Swahili Beach Resort is easily the best place to stay in Diani Beach. The beachfront location is stunning, with soft white sand and turquoise water just steps from the resort. The rooms are spacious, beautifully designed, and the sleep quality is exceptional thanks to the comfortable beds and peaceful atmosphere. Another highlight is the food: the variety is enormous, with something different to enjoy every day, from fresh seafood and local specialties to international dishes. The resort’s cascading pools, lush tropical gardens, and attentive staff create a truly relaxing experience. Whether you're looking for a romantic getaway or simply a place to unwind, Swahili Beach combines luxury, comfort, and authentic coastal charm in a way that keeps you wanting to return.

i enjoyed my stay, sad that it was short because of work but will definitely be back for longer. Food and staff were amazing. Rooms were spacious and with the coastal heat, the Ac was just perfect.

I stayed at Swahili Beach Resort during my solo trip, and I had such a wonderful experience. The location is amazing and very central to everything, while still feeling peaceful and surrounded by beautiful trees and nature. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, the food was excellent, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. It was definitely worth the money and the visit. I left feeling relaxed, refreshed and rejuvenated, which is exactly what I needed from the trip. I’ll definitely be coming back again!
