The Maji Beach Boutique Hotel

This is probably one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The service was excellent, the room was fantastic, the pool was lovely and WiFi was good. The room was super clean and the bed comfortable. Turn down service was provided. The attention to detail is obvious from check in to check out. Staff even made me an off-menu cocktail at my request, an experience I have never had before. I stayed on half board and the breakfast alone was fit for a king. I loved the fact the food was always freshly prepared. The a la carte menu is large with options to satisfy most palletes. Dinner was delicious. This hotel is great for relaxation, not for partying. What can I say, I will definitely be back!

What a lovely stay at the Maji! So peaceful, so relaxing, with impeccable service, the best we’ve found in all of Kenya by far! Relaxing in the beach loungers overlooking the ocean was heavenly. The food was delicious, with thoughtful and creative presentation. They made everything extra special for Valentines weekend, going above and beyond to create a romantic atmosphere. Our ocean view suite was lovely, comfortable bed and pillows! The water cooler in the room was a very nice amenity to have with the hot Diani weather! The housekeeping service was excellent, the wait staff clearly took pride in their service, and the manager Zipporah made sure the guests are well taken care of. It was clear this is a well trained set of staff who make you feel right at home. When our flight was cancelled they were so helpful in welcoming us for an additional evening. Having traveled a lot all over the world, we know a good establishment when we stay in one and the Maji is definitely top notch!

12 years later and Maji’s magic has still cast jts spell on me. No detail is spared by our amazing hosts Katerina, San, Zipporah and also good to see Stephan, the original crew. Had the best Valentines ever! Thank you for making every stay magical.

We arrived on the evening of 28th to a very warm welcome by zipporah and her team. Our 6th time of visit and never disappointed. Excellent service & very relaxed atmosphere and attentive waiters! Zippy/Nursa, thank you!

Would highly recommend for couples or family group. The location is perfect, the private beach is an added comfort, the pool is perfect spent hours in it. They have very good customer service from the security to the cleaning staff. The rooms are beautifully furnished and the spa experience was great. Customer service is a 10/10, cleanliness 10/10, the chef 10/10, the bar 10/10 Maji was definitely value for money. They are usually fully booked so if you get an opportunity please take it. Only issue is the salt water in the showers but that is a minor inconvenience for such a great experience.
