The Maji Beach Boutique Hotel

We had a fabulous stay at the Maji Beach Boutique Hotel. Our family of five were beautifully looked after by all the staff, who were friendly, attentive and concerned for our wellbeing. The hotel itself is in a stunning location, rooms are very clean and comfortable, with mosquito nets and air con. The food is delicious, with excellent breakfasts and a good range of dinner choices. We highly recommend this hotel!

Stayed for 4 days with my mom in a gorgeous Oceanview room. Even though all the rooms were occupied I’m pretty sure there was more staff than guests. Zipporah and her team are so kind and the care we received was incredible. The food is AMAZING (get the ginger crab and the coconut ice cream!). The beach is beautiful, and the water is so warm!! We went out to a snorkelling excursion the hotel arranged (was very affordable, about $20/per person for a half day trip). And it was so much fun! There were friendly monkeys that came to visit us on our balcony and very comfortable furniture to lay on near the beach. It’s not a private beach so there are sellers that offer their products but they don’t cross the hotels property line and will leave you be if you say no. There’s also always security standing nearby the property line near the beach to keep an eye on things. Can’t wait to go back!!

We stayed at this resort in June. The service from the entire staff is very personalized and warm. It makes us feel like part of a family. The food is simply top Michelin Guide Level. The location is fantastic we step out of our room to find the pool right outside and a fantastic beach. We have to be a little careful with the monkeys, but even there, the staff is on the lookout. Always place to lay Dow an relax. The bar is always open, and food is available at any time. We wanted to try some local seafood from the menu, and they bought it especially for us. Honestly, what a paradise. I’d definitely go back and live there forever. :)

Magical stay in the most magical hotel. Best honeymoon we could have possibly wished for. A wonderful room with pool access. We had the prince and princess treatment for the whole week. And we are sad to go, but are definetly coming back!

From the seamless airport pick‑up to the heartfelt welcome on arrival, everything felt intentional. The service throughout our stay was exceptional. The meals were unforgettable — generous, beautifully prepared, and full of flavour. The rooms were spotless, serene, and inviting. And the team… they make you feel like you belong. Their kindness wraps around you in a way that makes leaving genuinely difficult. We truly had the time of our lives. Evelyn, Zippy, Moraa, and Farida took such wonderful care of us. And a very special shout‑out to Simon, whose attentiveness and warmth made our stay even more memorable — he ensured we never lacked for anything. I am already dreaming about my next vacation at The Maji. To the entire Maji family: thank you for giving us not just an incredible experience, but for sharing who you are.
