Diamonds Thudufushi

Our family visited this wonderful island in July and stayed at Thudufushi – we were absolutely delighted with our experience. The breathtaking Bounty-style nature, attentive staff, and the overall atmosphere of pure relaxation made it unforgettable. I would especially like to mention Shairaf, our house cleaner. He did an impeccable and swift job tidying up our villa every day. We are truly grateful to him for his excellent service. Sabu, the baker, always prepared the most delicious pizza and pastries with a smile. Our waiter, Maisan, was consistently warm and caring throughout our stay. A special thank you to Assail Islam, who cooked the most wonderful pasta to suit every taste. Kalana, the pastry chef, stole our hearts with his mouthwatering desserts and his helpful recommendations on how to enjoy them best. Also, the waiters Ahmed and Meirkhan were always ready to step in and help the moment they noticed we needed anything. The house reef, the dive center, and the excursions left us equally impressed – we got everything we wished for and had a fantastic time. Just a friendly tip: don't forget to bring your reef-safe sunscreen, you'll definitely need it here. If I may add one small constructive note: the resort could really benefit from a bit of renovation and refurbishment in some areas. A little more attention to the furnishings in the villas and public spaces would go a long way. For instance, it was disappointing to see torn sheets, stained curtains or daybeds, broken hangers, and similar details. I completely understand and applaud the hotel's strong commitment to ecology, but there are certain things you simply don't expect to find in a five-star property. Huge gratitude to all these wonderful people for making our holiday so special.

Thank you for an extraordinary rest, we really enjoyed every second, the service was sensational, the people so friendly - with Special thanks to our room keeper and Ahmed the waiter, they made us feel like family- but all others - from reception to cook - made a special trip. Food was exceptional, we enjoyed breakfast lunch and dinner all day… Pasta was better compared to what you get in Italy… We stayed 10 days in Rain Season, and we had 10 minutes of rain, weather was Great, temperature 30 degrees

We had an unforgettable holiday at Diamonds Thudufushi Maldives. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed like part of a family. A special thank you to the amazing diving team, especially Mario and Matteo, whose professionalism, enthusiasm, and knowledge made every dive a fantastic experience. The diving was simply outstanding, with beautiful marine life and unforgettable underwater moments. We would also like to thank to,Charlie Meerkhan , Chady , Sultan, Hishan, and all the staff for their kindness, attention to detail, and warm hospitality throughout our stay. Everyone went above and beyond to ensure we had a perfect holiday. The island is paradise – crystal-clear turquoise water, white sandy beaches, excellent food, and a relaxed atmosphere. The house reef and marine biodiversity are incredible. Thank you to the entire Diamonds Thudufushi team for making our stay so special. We leave with wonderful memories and hope to return again soon. What an amazing place, 10/10 recommend! Before I start to share my experience, I already want to highlight the staff at this place. We want to give a special shoutout to Shady, our tour guide on all the snorkling trips. He made sur this was the trip of a lifetime, while making sur everyone was being respectfull of the nature. I hereby nominate him for employee of the month…! We came in on the first day around 15:00, and were immediatly welcomed into the family. The staff is amazing. Everyone was super kind and helpfull, but not in a must be kind like way. They were just such nice people to hang out with. And a big plus for the beachvolleybal team ofcourse😉 We had a beach junior suite which was fine. Nothing special, but you don’t need it on such an island. It was spacious, clean and well mantainanced. The view and placement was the big positive. From our room you just walked onto the beach, into the water. Great for snorkling. The food is absolutuly amazing! The buffet restaurant (if you can call it that) has 5 chefs who prepare the food fresh in front of you. I would honestly pay a lot of money to eat in a restaurant like this in The Netherlands. The bars are also very nice, clean, good seating areas and the drinks are perfect. The house reef is amazing, we saw sharks, turtles, great colourfull corals and so many fish! The trips for the snorkling are the thing that made our entire trip. We saw manta’s, dolphins and 2 whale sharks. The way the crew handles these trips is amazing, the best i’ve ever had! The water sports like kajakking and paddle board is free, which is awesome to fill up your day. Also the snorkling gear is up to standards. The only negative point for me was the WIFI. This was very bad. In the room, we had our own router but it still got only 1mb/s download. At the restaurant and the bars there is almost nog wifi. For 50 dollars you can buy “high speed WIFI”, which we did, and this was okay but still not amazing. For a resort of this class (and cost) we expected this to be a bit better. Would be a great upgrade! Overall our trip was amazing and we will be coming back when we go back to the Maldives!

An excellent resort with nice and friendly staff. Almost all of the staff were very nice and tried their best to help when requested. Mily and Faizaan from guest service, Raul from Water Sports, Shree in the bar, and all the chefs were super helpful and friendly. Thank you for making our short stay a memorable one.
