Embudu Village

I was for 10 nights, just got back to Germany. I am absolutely delighted how beautiful this place is. The people working there are one very friendly community. Since I am a Muslim myself, I also prayed at the mosque on Friday, and I was the only woman. All the men treated me with great respect. Everything is organized so well, there is no rush, there is no panic, everything is just the way it should be. The food was great. I snorkled, unfortunately also got dust in my ears, but thanks to the super Dr.Saad, who treated it very dedicated and knows his profession, on the island, the pain is almost gone. Seeing sharks and many other beautiful animals was natural thing. Such lovely people. God protects you. Sellam, Samira

Great Hotel! We booked a Superior Bungalow and it was a great decision. It's nothing very luxurious but big enough and clean aswell. The food at the Buffet was tasty and varied aswell. The people working at the hotel were extremely professional and kind.

Embudu is a truly beautiful resort. If you are looking for tranquility, peace, nature, and the ocean, this is the perfect choice. It is suitable for all ages and has so much to offer. The beaches are gorgeous with spectacular water, perfect for endless snorkeling. The facilities include a gym, a great bar, table tennis, billiards, a football pitch, and a badminton court. Rooms are very comfortable. The food is very good, and the waitstaff are attentive and incredibly thoughtful. In short, the atmosphere is lovely, the sunsets are stunning, and the value for money of the package is perfect. The only exception: DO NOT BOOK THE EXCURSIONS ORGANIZED by the resort. They are really poor, overpriced for what you actually get, and a complete waste of time.

The location is perfect: 20 min from male with the speed boat. They take care of visitors immediately after arrival at the airport. You just have to walk up to the booth. The food is incredible. The weather changes quite a lot, but if you have enough days here you will enjoy all kinds of weather. We liked the island staff really much. From kind assistance during arrival and departure, to food choice tips at the restaurant or coconut opening. Special thanks to Hovinga, Kamal and Bandiya! Our stay at Embudu Village was simply unforgettable! If you're looking for an authentic Maldivian experience, this barefoot island is the perfect destination. Surrounded by lush tropical vegetation and a stunning house reef with vibrant corals, it's a paradise for snorkeling enthusiasts. Swimming alongside colorful fish and reef sharks right off the beach was an incredible experience. The island's location is another huge advantage. It's only a 20 minute speedboat transfer from Malé, making the journey quick and convenient while still feeling like a secluded paradise. The food was delicious, offering a great variety every day, and the staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and always service-oriented, making us feel at home throughout our stay. A special thank you to General Manager Mr. Ramsay for his warm hospitality and dedication to ensuring every guest has an exceptional experience. Everything about our week at Embudu Village exceeded our expectations. We left feeling relaxed, refreshed, and already dreaming of coming back. We highly recommend Embudu Village to anyone looking for a true Maldivian paradise.
