Kudafushi Resort & Spa

We have stayed at Kudafushi for the second time, and we are absolutely sure that we will come back again. The entire resort team is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and professional, making you feel truly at home. Special thanks go to Marina and Jess for their kindness and great hospitality. The food at De' North Sail Restaurant is delicious and diverse. Everyone can find something they like while also discovering new flavors. We would especially like to thank Lis for her outstanding service, amazing steaks, positive energy, and beautiful smile. The rest of the restaurant staff and all the waiters were excellent as well: always polite, attentive, and dedicated to ensuring that every guest is satisfied. The fruit and pasta stations were fantastic. The same can be said about the JuJu Bar. The service there is simply outstanding. Before you even finish thinking about what you would like to order, a smiling bartender is already bringing you a delicious drink. In the evenings, there is live music or a DJ, creating a wonderful atmosphere to relax and enjoy the night. We also highly recommend the SPA. The Balinese massage was an absolutely wonderful experience. The water is beautifully turquoise and crystal clear, and you can enjoy snorkeling on the house reef. The dives organized by the Dive Center are of the highest standard. We would especially like to thank Marco for his excellent care, professionalism, and support throughout our diving experiences. Thank you, Kudafushi, for another unforgettable holiday. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

Another trip arranged by the wonderful Angelfish Travel team. Their knowledge and experience provide a genuine personal touch and we would highly recommend this small family business who provide such an excellent and specialised service. Our 3rd visit to Kudafushi in the past 12 months, absolutely brilliant holiday again. The staff throughout the island, every employee, make this island perfect. Everyone was extremely attentive, friendly, and always willing to help, with genuine smiles and a warm attitude. You can really feel that the guests are valued and are well taken care of. We were lucky again to be able to stay in our preferred villa (214) which Zihaan kept spotlessly clean. The choice of food in the restaurant was again excellent, from a spicy curry to a salad and everything in-between. All the staff in the restaurant are so friendly, yet professional. There are far too many to name them all, but special mention to Ibrahim (who always served the chardonnay with a huge smile), Areej (hope you enjoyed spending your birthday with your daughter) and Shazeen (always smiling and who we looked forward to seeing at every meal). For us the JuJu bar is a great place to spend time enjoying drinks and the evening entertainment. The staff are so good, they even remembered our preferences from our last visit. Thanks to everyone in the bar, especially Anoof, Samey, Aiham and Adhil. One of the highlights of our visit was to be invited, by Anoof, to watch the department football league matches one of which was taking place on the first Sunday of our stay and we thoroughly enjoyed the game, it was so fast flowing and intense. Given that we are not football fans, we prefer rugby, we enjoyed it so much that this one match turned into a daily event right up until we left the island, it also gave us a chance to get to know other staff members from the different departments on the island. Finally, to Luise, our shining star. Thank you so much for everything you did to make our holiday so special and enjoyable again (we’ll need to think how we can surpass the fish & chips on our next visit!). All the time you spent with us during our stay was greatly appreciated especially as we knew how busy you were. Our experience staying on this island improves with every visit and each time we feel as if we are becoming more and more, part of the Kudafushi family. Thanks to all at Kudafushi for a wonderful stay again and we look forward to seeing you again in July, when we will be bringing our family with us too.

Our stay at Kudafushi has been a wonderful experience from beginning to end. From our arrival by seaplane, we received a warming welcome from the entire team, especially Marina, who speaks Spanish and went above and beyond to make sure every detail of our stay was perfect. We stayed in a Water Villa with a private pool, and the island itself is absolutely breathtaking. Everywhere you look, you feel like taking another picture! Surprisingly, even though the resort was fully booked, it always felt peaceful and private. There is so much to do! We particularly loved the yoga classes with Marina. K-Yoga offers an extensive programme, with classes tailored to all levels. Marina takes the time to explain each movement, gently correct your posture and make every session so enjoyable that you can’t wait for the next one :) We also enjoyed snorkeling, paddleboarding, kayaking and our first scuba diving experience. The diving team are great instructors, very friendly and approachable, making everything feel easy and comfortable. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking to try scuba diving for the first time or take their skills further. The K-Spa offers a great selection of massages and treatments, and the buffet is fantastic, with plenty of variety and regularly changing dishes. One last mention to the housekeeping service, everything is spotless, and the staff are always friendly and attentive. We booked five days thinking it would be enough, but we are already dreaming of coming back! Thank you to everyone at Kudafushi for an experience we will remember forever!

We spent 5 days at Kudafushi Resort & Spa and stayed in an overwater villa. The villa was huge, very clean, and such a nice place to come back to after a day outside. What stood out most to me was how calm the resort felt. It was fully booked while we were there, but somehow it never felt busy. You could still walk around, sit by the water, or just relax without feeling like there were people everywhere. If you love the ocean, there’s a lot to do. They have diving, snorkeling, and diving classes if you’ve never tried it before. There’s also an excursion to a nearby local island, which was a nice way to see a different side of the Maldives beyond the resort. One of the fun things about staying in an overwater villa was seeing marine life around us all the time. We spotted parrotfish, needlefish, eagle rays and plenty of other fish just around the reception area and the villas, both during the day and at night. We had the all-inclusive package and were really happy with the food. De’ North changes the menu, so there was always something different to try. The pasta station stays every night, and I’m definitely not complaining about that. It was one of the things we kept going back for. We also tried Olive Me, the Italian restaurant, and really enjoyed the food there. The staffs were amazing throughout the stay — very friendly, professional and always happy to help. A big thank you to Samir (FOM), Aanis and Munmy (Front Office), Anoof, Aiham, Aadhil and Samey (Juju Bar), Rishmaah and Lost (IVD), Faidh (HR), Abaan (Leisure House), Salvatore and Tommy (Housekeeping), and Lis, Riska & the pasta chef at De’ North for looking after us so well. Such a peaceful stay with great food, lots to do, and a really lovely team.
