Niva Dhigali Maldives

Lovely memories of a fabulous holiday. Dhigali was perfect and the team looked after us really well. Wonderful guided snorkel trip with expert guidance was one of many highlights

Wow, what a resort. We really felt as if we were in paradise and couldn't fault a thing. This was our third trip to the Maldives and this was by far the best and most memorable. The setting, views, soft white sand, snorkeling, food and drinks, facilities and service provided everywhere was fantastic. Add to this a complimentary dolphin cruise and glass bottom boat trip, what more could anyone want !!. The food and service were excellent at all a la carte restaurants and we didn't have one meal we didn't enjoy. The setting at Battuta was magical and we were really pleased we picked this one to celebrate our anniversary - for which the resort also gave us a small decorated muffin for our breakfast and a cake and a bottle of cava in our room. As mentioned earlier, service across the board was excellent. All staff greeted you with a smile and always had time to have a chat. We aren't great at remembering names so unfortunately can't mention anyone specifically by name but the girls in the Capers buffet restaurant were lovely and really looked after us and always tried to give us a table overlooking the beach. The two guys who ran the bar and served drinks at the Haali bar were unreal as after a day or so our drinks always arrived before we had the chance to even ask for them. I'd also like to mention Ippu in the reception who kindly booked the Sapphire lounge for us at the Seaplane terminal so we could spend a few hours in comfort before we could check in at the airport for our late flight out of Male. The weather was very kind to us other than the first couple of days where it was overcast and we had a very big storm and we saw plenty of sunshine during our 11 night stay. The only extremely (very) minor negatives I'd mention which not in any way spoilt our stay were firstly the mosquito's as we found we got bitten a lot more than we've ever done in the past. Saying that the resort also provided complementary cream to try to prevent us getting bitten and cream for after bite relief. Secondly, the guys at the East bar throughout our stay were happy to make up drinks for us that were not on the menu so we often enjoyed white russians, expresso martinis and mud slides. Sadly for some reason they informed us a day before we left that they had been instructed to no longer do so and that they could only provide us with drinks from the menu. This was a little disappointing given we'd had them for most of our stay but again this not a major issue. For anyone reading this who are contemplating booking this resort, don't hesitate to do so, you will have a fantastic time and not be disappointed !!

Four of us visited for 10 days, staying in a Beach Villa. It was our first trip to the Maldives arranged through Audley Travel (who were excellent!). The hotel occupies the whole island, which is blessed with white sandy beaches and a tropical vegetation coverage. Our stay was amazing from start to finish. The villa was spacious, immaculate and spotless. It was services twice a day. Our room was about 10m from a sandy beach and lagoon separated from the ocean by a rock reef. The swimming was AMAZING with abundance of tropical fish (and a turtle guest appearance) around the rock reef. The staff were wonderful - friendly, and professional - doing their best to make our holiday a pleasure. With five restaurants (including a Pizza take away) and two bars, there was a great variety of quality food and drink. We had an amazing, relaxing time and would love to return.

Words can’t describe how good this place is. We went for our honeymoon and it was PERFECT The service is second to none. From Aslam in housekeeping, to Tiari, Wihaad & Mindi in the capers restaurant. Zafaah on reception. These guys are an absolute credit to the company and went above and beyond to make out stay a dream come true. Upon arrival via the seaplane, we had staff waving to us as we were pulling in to the dock. We were transported to reception and given a full overview of the island, how to catch the island bus and every other detail needed. We stayed in all of the types of rooms and were not disappointed. The beach bungalow with the outdoor bathroom was stunning and the beaches are how you would imagine. White sand, pure paradise. The water villa was special, we got a really good deal upgrading from the one without the pool, to the one with the infinity pool. Facing the west, the sunsets were beautiful and privacy is everything we wanted. A minibar was well equipped and re stocked every day. The restaurants cater for everybody and the food is always cooked deliciously. Faru & Jade were our favourites. Our package included 5 pizzas per day and we would often grab 2 and go and watch the sunset at Haali bar. The cafe served hot sandwiches, ice cream and hot drinks. The excursions were fantastic, we saw dolphins, watched the sunset on a cruise, had the honeymoon couples treatment and scuba dived off the reef seeing sharks, turtles and more. A big shout out to the staff at diving as they were great. The island is truly luxury and we couldn’t have a better first impression of the Maldives 🇲🇻 Jack & Maisie

My stay was all I dreamed it to be, very professional and friendly customer service, delicious and varaite of food, activities around the island so amazing and engaging, I got my relaxed and me time at the water villa I specially have to thank Wanida from spa so professional, Milana a vibrant young lady so client oriented, my stay wouldn't have been as beautiful as it was without Dharey's guidance and support, Ippu, Ishfa and Olzha you aall are amazing and all the service team I interact with. Cleanliness of rooms, the beach and service areas is unreal 😍 my checkin and check out was coordinated so well starting from my arrival at the international airport, my first sea plane experience was also fabulous 👌 the amenities they put at the room so classy and useful.
