Niva Dhigali Maldives

Beautiful resort. Excellent service. We were there over Easter and they made a huge effort with beautiful Easter chocolates in every room, decorating the he kids club and main restaurant, Easter egg hunt, Easter party with some really excellent entertainers. House reef has lovely coral and lots of fish and feels very safe to snorkel even with small kids (our daughter is 6). We saw eagle rays, octopi and thousands of colourful reef fish and corals. The included Dolphin cruise was also amazing we saw about a hundred spinner dolphins who seemed to love leaping out of the water to show us their spins and somersaults. Lots of wildlife to watch on the island, we loved the ubiquitous hermit crabs, geckos, garden lizards and fruit bats. Really fantastic food we loved capers (buffet) and Jade. They even made giant chocolate eggs for Easter. Delicious proper cocktails and champagne included in all inclusive. Spa is heavenly, calm and beautiful if a bit pricey. Excellent massage from Kenza who really listened to what I wanted (focus on hands and forearms). Medical centre on site, treatment was free and very sensible when our daughter cut her foot on some coral on day 1. A few cons: Take lots of clothes - the laundry is incredibly expensive (about 5$ to wash a pair of underpants) Quite a lot of mozzies around - especially at battuta restaurant - take good quality insect spray- lots of it! Bed in our room was very hard- they have toppers but you have to ask. It is very multicultural , you can’t assume there will be English speaking kids at the kids club (though they do have English speaking staff there). Most guests seem to be German or Russian. We were lucky and there were a couple of English speaking kids there. Shop is quite small. Make sure to bring everything you need (antihistamines are a must for prickly heat and mosquito bites). Anything in top if the AI is very pricey.

I had a massage with Tiwi and it was a really good experience. I felt very relaxed and much better after the massage. Tiwi was professional, gentle, and made me feel comfortable throughout. I would definitely recommend her and would be happy to come back again.🙃

Our stay at Dhigali Maldives was absolutely unforgettable 🤍 Everything was simply perfect — incredibly clean, beautifully designed, and thoughtfully organized down to the smallest details. The island itself feels like a dream, and every moment there was filled with peace and beauty. What truly made our experience special was the amazing team. The staff were incredibly attentive, kind, and genuinely caring. A very special thank you to Nila — she was always smiling, warm, and welcoming. She constantly checked on how we were feeling and showed genuine care about our stay. Dedi always greeted us with a smile and such positive energy — he lifted our mood every time we saw him. Ashan from Sri Lanka is someone who truly loves his job — always friendly, attentive, and professional. We would also like to mention the gentleman who drove us by buggy from our villa to the restaurant and back (unfortunately we forgot his name — we called him “Mali”). He is the tallest guy on the island who drives guests around — impossible to miss 😊 He was always in a great mood, happy to chat, and never refused to give us a ride anywhere. Such a kind and pleasant person. Desh, the saxophonist, deserves special recognition — his performances every evening were absolutely stunning. Truly the best live music we have ever heard. And a huge thank you to the wonderful ladies at the spa — Gusti and Wanida. These were honestly the best massages we’ve ever had. Our bodies are still grateful! Thank you, Dhigali Maldives, for such an incredible and unforgettable holiday. You are truly the best, and we will definitely come back again!

We have been lucky enough to come to Dhigali two years running over Easter. It's a wonderful experience. Thy sea is beautiful with wonderful sealife. Just outside our water villa there was a friendly sea turtle on two occasions who we tried to not get too near but it came over to say hello anyway. The entire team are friendly and wonderful. Particular mentions must go to Tiari at meals in the restaurant (who even remembered us from last year and greeted us like an old friend), Wanida in the spa (who did some wonderful massages for my wife whose back is quite tricky and requires careful, skilled attention) and the entire team at Euro Divers who I had some exceptional diving with including seeing numerous Manta Rays at a cleaning station. I should also mention the Artist at the cafe who was lovely. My daughter did a painting under his supervision and assistance and it came out wonderfully. But he was also so nice during the two hours they were working, turning the creative process into a calm, quiet, peaceful process. Our daughter wasn't sure whether she wanted to do it but absolutely loved it. In truth the whole team are great. It's a very well run resort. Inevitably small hiccups occur but when they do they are resolved within minutes which is exceptional.

Service from room cleaning , bar tenders and reception is absolutely great!!!! BUT!!! Service and help from General Manager just on zero level! Very much disappointment!!!
