Niva Dhigali Maldives

Dhigali is a breathtaking escape, surrounded by pristine turquoise waters and lush, vibrant greenery that makes every corner feel like a tropical paradise. The resort features stunning, powdery white sand beaches perfect for unwinding, while the lively Haali bar served as a vibrant hub for soaking in the island’s energy and viewing the sunset, sitting on the swing or the comfy bean bags on the beach. We also indulged in a diverse culinary journey at its incredible restaurants - Jade , Faru , Battuta and Capers , which consistently delivered both exceptional flavours and picturesque dining settings. Of the 6 days that we spent at the Dhigali Resort, we split it such that we could experience both the Lagoon Villa with Pool as well as the Beach Villa with Pool. The rooms are a premium experience and a split that helps experience both living over the reef for a few days and then having direct access to the beach for the rest of the days worked out well for us. The property, both the rooms as well as the common areas, are immaculately maintained, with high standards of cleanliness and tremendous amounts of pride, by the Staff! Our stay at Dhigali Maldives was truly beautiful and memorable, made even more special by the incredible staff who consistently went above and beyond to ensure we had an awesome experience. Overall Experience The entire team at Dhigali truly knows how to create beautiful moments for their guests. We also want to extend a special thanks to the "silent heroes" within the Housekeeping and Operations teams who work tirelessly behind the scenes to keep the island running perfectly. We left with wonderful memories and are incredibly happy for the hospitality shown to us during our stay.

This really is paradise . The welcome , the food, the staff, the snorkelling , the sand all perfect . We would definitely stay again .

We enjoyed our first visit to Niva Dhigali - great food, wonderfully friendly team and a house reef offering all the usual suspects plus sting rays, eagle rays, black tip and white tip reef sharks, nurse sharks, octopus, and dolphins. Make sure you check out the snorkelling by Capers as this appeared to be the fish nursery (tiny but perfectly formed fish of every type) and also home to the bat fish. We had a deluxe beach villa with access directly into the sea which worked perfectly for us - we certainly didn't feel the need to upgrade to an over water villa. It was always perfectly clean and kept well stocked by the team. Our villa was located fairly close to Capers , so easy for an early morning walk before breakfast before it got too hot! We did make use of the buggies to reach Faru and Haali Bar during the heat of the day and Battuta at the end of the evening! We ate in all the restaurants, but our lunchtime favourite was Faru. The food was exceptional and the whole team were great but there has to be a special mention to Ziggy who was amazing and was always two steps ahead of us!!! The food and team at Battuta and Jade were fabulous and the biggest decision to make on the island was where to book your table for dinner - using the app is easy but if you book with the concierge you can book ahead by a few days. The cafe is a great place to hang out for coffees and ice creams. The spa team were good and we really enjoyed East meets West massages. One point to note, there were a lot of children on the island - possibly because we visited shortly before Easter. This is a great family resort (with plenty of facilities) but not everyone wants to holiday with other peoples unsupervised children! Obviously not the fault of the hotel, but it was causing some concern, and some disappointed returning guests we spoke to were seriously considering if they would return or look elsewhere. Chris - the resort manager was always available, accessible and happy to chat which is something we have never experienced on any of our previous trips to the Maldives - and is a huge plus point for Dhigali. Would we return, yes we would, but we would double check dates and try to avoid anything close to school holidays!

Had the best 5 star experience at Dhigali especially at the Watersports mode, Ali and Naji they were the best hosts! Went jet skiing, saw dolphins, manta ray, went kayaking and paddle boarding was amazing! One of the best islands!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Dhigali Maldives. From the moment we arrived, everything felt seamless, relaxed, and incredibly well organised, with the island itself offering a perfect balance of natural beauty and comfort. A special mention has to go to Mohammed from the Battuta team, who went above and beyond to make every interaction feel personal and thoughtful. His genuine friendliness really stood out and made a big difference to the overall experience. Plus his 6am snorkelling recommendation was very appreciated with many sharks, a couple of eagle rays, octopus and a sting ray all spotted on the house reef. Joy from the café and Jade was equally fantastic, always welcoming, cheerful, and attentive, which made every visit something to look forward to. Overall, the level of service across the resort was outstanding, and the team really made the experience feel special. I would highly recommend Dhigali Maldives and would happily return in the future.
