Where do we even begin? Ten nights in Kuramathi Maldives, and we can genuinely say it was nothing short of paradise. We came here to celebrate one of the most important moments of our lives our wedding and somehow, Kuramathi managed to exceed every single expectation we had. The island itself is absolutely breathtaking, the beaches are stunning, the food is incredible, and every little detail feels special. But what truly makes Kuramathi extraordinary is the people. We have travelled and experienced wonderful hospitality before, but never in our lives have we encountered such genuinely kind, warm, caring and exceptional staff. Every single person made us feel welcome, valued and completely at home. It never felt like people were simply doing their jobs, if felt like they genuinely cared about making our stay unforgettable. There are some very special people we would love to recognise individually. Vishna - Our Wonderful Wedding Organiser A huge, heartfelt thank you to Vishna for organising the most beautiful wedding ceremony we could ever have imagined. Everything was absolutely magical, from the setting to the smallest details. She helped turn our dream into reality, and we will forever be grateful for the care and effort that went into making our special day so perfect. It was everything we hoped for and so much more. Kritika – The Heart and Soul of Laguna Bar Oh, where do we even start with Kritika?! What an absolute ray of sunshine! She has the most wonderful, bubbly, infectious personality and an incredible ability to brighten anyone's day. Every visit to Laguna Bar was a highlight because of her. She always made sure we were well hydrated (usually with another delicious cocktail!), encouraged us to try new drinks and somehow always knew how to put a smile on our faces. But what made her so special wasn't just her fantastic service, it was her personality. We genuinely looked forward to our daily conversations, laughs and little catch-ups with her. And we have to say, on her days off, Laguna Bar simply wasn't the same without her! You could genuinely feel her absence. That says everything about the wonderful energy she brings to the place. Kritika, you are an absolute gem, and Kuramathi is incredibly lucky to have you! Kathy, Gita and Shinaz Absolutely Wonderful! Another massive thank you to Kathy, Gita and Shinaz for their exceptional service throughout our stay. Whether in the restaurants or bars, they were always so welcoming, attentive and genuinely lovely to be around. What we appreciated most was that they always found a moment for a little conversation, a joke or a laugh, even while working so hard. It's those small, personal interactions that turn a lovely holiday into an unforgettable experience. You made us feel like so much more than just another couple of guests. Thank you for your kindness, your smiles and the wonderful memories! Rizwaan – An Absolute Master of His Craft! Hats off to Rizwaan! His cooking show at Island Barbecue was absolutely phenomenal. Watching him work was an experience in itself, the skill, confidence, passion and attention to detail were incredible. My husband, who takes his steak very seriously, said that the blue steak Rizwaan prepared was one of the best steaks he has ever eaten in his life! What impressed us even more was how patiently and enthusiastically Rizwaan explained the ingredients, techniques and cooking process. You could see how much pride he takes in his work. He didn't just prepare a fantastic meal, he created an experience that we will remember for years. A truly talented chef and an absolute credit to Kuramathi! Navi and Marjorie – Our Wedding Day Heroes! Now, these two deserve an extra-special mention. Navi, our best man, and Marjorie, our bridesmaid, were simply OUTSTANDING. Getting married, even in paradise, comes with nerves and emotions. But from the moment they joined us, they took every bit of stress away. They helped us get ready, made sure we looked our absolute best, paid attention to every tiny detail and were there whenever we needed anything , sometimes before we even realised we needed it! They were incredibly attentive, reassuring, funny, kind and supportive throughout the entire experience. But what touched us most was that they never made us feel like they were simply staff assigned to our wedding. They genuinely felt like part of our wedding party, part of our special day and part of our memories. They shared our excitement, made us laugh when we were nervous and helped us feel completely relaxed and happy. Having them by our sides meant more to us than we can properly put into words. Navi and Marjorie, you both have such beautiful hearts. We couldn't have wished for two better people to stand beside us on one of the biggest days of our lives. We will remember you both with so much affection, and we sincerely hope you know how much of a difference you made. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts. Our Photographer and Videographer A huge thank you also goes to our wonderful photographer and videographer, who captured our wedding so beautifully. The photographs and footage are absolutely breathtaking. Every emotion, every little moment and every beautiful detail was captured with such care and creativity. These aren't just pictures and videos to us – they are memories we will treasure for the rest of our lives. Thank you for giving us something so precious to look back on. Our Amazing Room Attendants – Villas 201 and 310 Last, but absolutely not least, we want to thank the wonderful room attendants who looked after us during our stay. Unfortunately, we didn't manage to remember their names, but we stayed in Villa 201 and later moved to Villa 310, and we sincerely hope management can pass on our appreciation to the people responsible for both rooms. Every single day, our villas were beautifully cleaned, perfectly prepared and looked after with such care. The lovely little surprises and thoughtful touches made coming back to our room feel special every time. It's easy for housekeeping staff to go unnoticed, but their hard work makes such a difference, and we want them to know how much we appreciated everything they did. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of us and making both villas feel like our little homes in paradise. To the Entire Kuramathi Team, Thank You! We could honestly keep writing forever because there were so many wonderful people who contributed to making our stay so special. From the moment we arrived until the moment we had to leave, we were surrounded by kindness, smiles and outstanding hospitality. Not once during our ten days did we feel disappointed, uncomfortable or overlooked. We genuinely cannot think of a single negative thing to say about our experience. And while the Maldives is undeniably one of the most beautiful places on Earth, beautiful beaches can be found in many places. People like the team at Kuramathi are what make somewhere truly unforgettable. We arrived as a couple ready to get married, and we left as husband and wife with the most incredible memories and a very special place in our hearts for this island and its people. Leaving was genuinely heartbreaking, and if we could have stayed another ten days, we would have done so without hesitation. To the management: please recognise and celebrate these incredible members of your team. They are the reason guests fall in love with Kuramathi and already planning to come back in 2028. Would we recommend Kuramathi? A thousand times YES. Would we come back? In a heartbeat. We had an absolutely amazing stay at Niva Kuramathi Maldives. The island scenery is breathtaking, the villa is beautiful and clean. Special thanks to our wonderful staff Rai! Rai was incredibly helpful, patient and thoughtful. He helped us arrange our villa change smoothly, responded quickly whenever we had questions, and gave us great recommendations for island activities. His warm service made our honeymoon trip much more comfortable and unforgettable. All the resort staff are friendly. We enjoyed the food, beach and snorkeling here very much. We will definitely recommend Kuramathi to our friends and hope to come back again someday!
