Riu Atoll

Well where do I start what a place and what wonderful service we received off every single member of staff nothing was ever too much and they were so nice pity some people treated them so bad it was disgusting probably the worst of people I've seen for rudeness and lack of manners . We had an ocean front room which was so nice open the patio doors straight onto the beach.Rooms where cleaned whenever we requested and minibar was filled everyday .The food was plentiful and was delicious always something for everyone .We used the Italian a la carte and steakhouse twice and each time it didn't disappoint .Special mention to thaney and phillipe in the dining room two really great people ,thanks for the banter .A special mention to marchee in the sports bar never stopped topping us up with drinks .we went on the dolphin cruise and were lucky enough to see bottlenose dolphins and spinner dolphins it was a special time .Overall would I come back too right I would and we definitely will and on the atoll side again

We had such an amazing stay at Riu Atoll Maldives and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better first holiday with our baby. The resort is beautiful, with direct access to the beach and the most incredible views. Our room was always spotless, and the housekeeping team were brilliant and so attentive. The food was 10/10 — so much choice and everything we tried was delicious. What really made our stay special, though, were the staff. A huge thank you to Thaney, Faiz, Yossaf and Rona, who were absolutely incredible. They always remembered us, checked that we were comfortable and were so attentive with our baby. Even the little things, like making sure we had everything we needed at mealtimes and checking in on us throughout our meals, made such a difference. Charuka, Susy, Rose and Krish were also fantastic. They always greeted us with a smile, were so friendly and made us feel like nothing was ever too much trouble. Those little personal touches really stood out and made us feel genuinely welcome. As this was our first family holiday with our baby, having such a caring and attentive team around us made the whole experience so much easier and more enjoyable. It’s the people who really make a holiday, and the team at Riu Atoll made ours one we will never forget. ❤️ Thank you for an amazing stay — we would love to come back! 🇲🇻🌴

This was the best holiday we have ever had! I travelled with my children, aged 18 and 21. There is absolutely nothing to complain about. The service was fantastic, the food was delicious, and there was always plenty to choose from at the buffet. We had the all-inclusive package, which I highly recommend! Our guide, Cloudy, whom we booked three excursions with, was absolutely amazing. Everything was clean and beautiful, and we were met with smiles everywhere. The beach was peaceful, with plenty of sun loungers, and it was incredibly clean and beautiful. We stayed in one of the water bungalows furthest out and saw stingrays and lots of other marine life every day. The snorkelling right by the beach was lovely, but I also recommend taking a guided snorkelling trip. We saw so many colourful fish and turtles—it was truly magical! We also went on a jet ski tour and a dolphin trip, and saw so many dolphins that it almost felt unreal. During the jet ski tour, they stayed with us for around 20 minutes, following us and putting on a show. We will definitely be back as soon as our holiday fund has filled up again!

We visited the Rui Atoll Hotel at the end of August, beginning of September. What can I say? The location was idyllic, the weather was perfect, and the proximity of the rooms to the beach was also a very pleasant surprise. We were a family of six with different age ranges from sixty-three to fifteen. However, each one of our family members had something to do. The rooms were very nice; the smart bathroom was equipped with all the modern furniture, whilst towels and beach towels were also provided on a daily basis. The beds were very comfortable, and the mini bar was restocked every day as well. So if you are on an all-inclusive package, then you can make use of this. Although we do not drink alcohol, it was also loaded with a number of soft drink beverages. The staff at the hotel were incredibly warm, friendly, and eager to help if you had any queries. A special mention to Nizam, who did our room on a daily basis and left it very clean and without any sand on the floor, which we inevitably brought in when out on the beach next to our room. We also attended the buffet, which had a wide variety of food to each and every person's taste. We had some members opting for more Indian-based dishes whilst others were more roast and fish based. However, there was something for everyone, whilst the sweets were also varied in number and the veg and fruits were also very sweet and delectable. The ice cream was also very nice, and a special mention to the coconut ice cream, which was very delicious. The staff at the buffet were also very helpful, and a mention to Krish. Most of the members could help you if you had any dietary queries or allergies, whilst there were two specialty restaurants which also provided very tasty cuisine, one being an Italian and the other more steak based. You book the place either via ringing reception or by the App. Overall, we stayed for seven days and enjoyed our stay. There was Scuba Carib, which was a watersport part of the hotel, and we made good use of the free water sports, which were the non-motorised ones, whilst my children attended the water sports for the snorkelling, which was also enjoyable. The water here is so clear that you can go out to the third flag and still see the 'ocean floor' Overall, I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel again and would love to return one day in the future. The staff were incredibly customer focused. So if you are after a relaxing trip without too many hiccups, then this would be the place to book. If you are going to the Maldives, a special mention also to the seaplane flying out to the hotel, which is another memorable experience, one which we still chat about on our return. You can see the beautiful views of all the different islands whilst flying to this private island. Compared to other hotels in the Maldives, it was very good value for money

We went with a family of 6, our elderly mum, 2 adult boys and a teenage daughter. We weee looked after very well. There was a buggy available on request for my mum who had difficulty walking. The snack bar in the room had plenty of drinks and the beach just outside the room was an added bonus. We could always have a splash whenever we wanted. The breeze was mild and the weather was perfect Though it’s considered to be a rainy season but the rains only came for minutes and they were welcomed if we were already in the sea. The staff was warm and friendly. The room was cleaner everyday and the bed had beautiful towel decorations often in our 1 week stay. The bathroom with full light had a silhouette ( image of the person in the shower) which we were not very comfortable. We tried having a shower with only dim lights or just lights in our room so that problem was solved. Overall the food was excellent. Sports Bar games were good. The beaches are gorgeous.
