The Standard, Huruvalhi Maldives

This trip made me feel very relaxed. The scenery of the whole island is beautiful, especially the sea view of the lagoon is really distinctive. The three-colour lagoon makes people feel that they can't get enough of it. Both sand houses and water houses have their own characteristics. The dense and soft white sand and the endless sea will become the most beautiful scenery in memory. The food inside is also very good. I still like it after eating for a few days, because it is updated every day. The activities are rich, the staff is enthusiastic, and the room configuration is also in line with expectations. It's a trip that I can't bear at all!

We had an amazing stay at The Standard. The resort is great and the Maldives are spectacular. We were a little worried about going in September with it being the rainy season but it was perfectly fine…. We had rain but it comes through in s few showers and refreshed everything - definitely didn’t hinder the holiday. We paid extra for the Manta ray trip which was 100% worth doing - what amazing creatures. All the staff were fantastic and went out of their way to make our stay wonderful. Shout out to Billal, Saikumar and Inaz who kept the cocktails flowing and Sujatha and her amazing team in the restaurant. We will be back.

Our stay at The Standard Maldives was absolutely amazing from start to finish. The resort and its surroundings are breathtaking—no matter how many photos you take, they simply don’t do the scenery justice. One of the highlights was being able to step straight off the back of our villa and snorkel in the crystal-clear water. Our villa was beautiful, the food was exceptional, and every member of staff made us feel genuinely welcome. A special mention must go to Shaq, who was exceptionally attentive and helped make our stay even more memorable. We also had so much fun riding around the island on the provided bikes. Half the adventure was never quite knowing whether your bike would still be where you left it—or whether you’d simply be choosing another one for the trip back! The entire experience was luxurious, relaxed and fun, and we honestly couldn’t fault a thing. We were very sad to leave and would return in a heartbeat.

Luxury in paradise is my description! The venue and location are exquisite with just the right balance of relaxing, snorkelling, eating and drinking. The staff are the key asset to this place and they all made us so welcome and attended to everything. Special callout to Billal, Saikumar and Izaz in Todi’s bar, and to Sujatha in Kula restaurant. Missing you guys already!
