Villa Park Sun Island

Location far from Male airport, feels private and calm. Perfect atmosphere all around the island. Beautiful view and water is cristal clear in turquoise colours. Simna is the best host/guide which keeps you informed on all activities and helps you in any questions. Tara from Mekunu bar will take care of you with good drinks and good talk😉. Hassan from housekeeping is the one which you want to be your “ninja” in regards of keeping your room like in the first moment of your arrival: clean and fresh, cleaning it even 3 times per day. Overall, it is all you could expect from a holiday in Maldives. Worth to come and 2nd time

With our son, his partner and our Granddaughter, We stayed at Villa Park, Sun Island for two wonderful weeks. The island itself was visually stunning with breathtaking white beaches and blue seas. It was beautifully manicured with lots of greenery. The resort itself was immaculately designed with activities and entertainment for everyone. The general areas such as hallways, reception and various restaurants were always clean and wonderfully presented. We initially stayed in the deluxe beech accommodation but in the second week, we were upgraded to a sea villa. Both accommodations were wonderful, with amazing views. We met some wonderful staff at Villa Park with many all to ready to help, offer advice or simply to have a chat. The interaction always felt genuine and heartfelt. Special mention to a few lovely members of staff we met: our hostess Bonnie, who was always available for advice and arranged the upgrade. Rokib who looked after us in the main restaurant. Menem who spent some time showing us around in his buggy. A special mention to Dr Chowdhury & Nurse Asha who looked after my wife. They were so helpful and kind and finally Alam from Bangladesh, who has worked at the resort for 18 years at the southern star buffet. He was very friendly and genuinely a nice guy, who helped us with tips and advice! Thank you Alam and Thank you to all these wonderful people who helped us have the best stay possible. Maldives are beautiful. This is one of the largest resorts. Anni the yoga instructor was a real highlight for me. She is super professional. Jazlaan in the dive centre is also a really professional dive instructor.
