Villa Park Sun Island

My husband and I arrived on the 10th October 2026 and stayed for 10 nights, we had Sunset water villa number 368. The weather was scorching with only one day of heavy rain, couple of short showers at other times but overall brilliant sunshine We would like to thank all the beautiful staff who were so friendly and efficient , a special shout out to Ananth in the main dining area for being so attentive and always cheerful you helped make the holiday 😊 .The villa was cleaned and refilled with water, towels etc sometimes twice a day. The resort was spotless and a pleasure to walk around day or night. Having a water villa meant we could sit outside bedroom and watch the sharks, rays and turtles 🐢 with a drink or join them by access of your own private steps straight into sea from your deck area. Snorkeling is a must around the island ...so much to see.Make sure you check out the area inside of water villas especially at dusk for the shark activity and the end of pier by the Italian restaurant where we witnessed Manta rays at night. We would both recommend this island especially if you are going as a family as seems to have more for children than others we have visited, this was our 4th Maldive holiday but our first to villa park sun island. It is also the first time in a water villa it did cost more than the beach bungalows we usually do but proved to best decision ever. On the day we left it was early start as you access and leave island by speedboat to catch commercial plane which takes you to Male airport (20 minutes) where you then board plane to final destination. So we had breakfast at 4.30am and boat for 5am that day. We went all inclusive which we always prefer to do, this gave my husband a sunset fishing trip which was 5pm till 8pm something he enjoyed. Fantastic holiday.

Our family holiday at Villa Park Sun Island Resort was truly the best vacation we have ever experienced. A very special, heartfelt thank you belongs to Simna, our contact person, who was an absolute angel to our family. From the very beginning until the end of our holiday, when our flight was delayed, she stepped in immediately and rearranged our transfers so we wouldn't have to worry about a thing. Throughout our entire stay, she checked in on us daily to ensure we were happy and she booked for us all the activities we wanted. For Simna, nothing was impossible, and her constant care made our holiday profoundly special. We also want to thank to all the incredible staff across the island, especially the wonderful housekeepers. Our villa was immaculate and welcoming every single day. The kindness of the entire team turned our family holiday into an absolute paradise, and we cannot wait to return.

We visited Sun Island (now Villa Park Sun Island) for the second time, and we will definitely return as soon as possible! The island is very beautiful, the rooms are comfortable, and the food is decent for an island in the middle of the ocean. The water is absolutely incredible! Many thanks to Nizam, who took great care of us and arranged an upgrade for us halfway through our stay. I hope we see each other again soon!

We’ve just returned from another stay at Villa Park Island Resort in the Maldives. Having stayed here last year, it was lovely to come back again, especially as this time we were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. One of the nicest things about returning was seeing Mahmood again. He looked after our villa last year and was back looking after us this time, along with Yazdhan. Both of them did a great job throughout our stay. The villa was always clean and tidy when we returned, and the little bed decorations they made for us were a lovely surprise. Thank you for the ' welcome home' Bed decoration and also our 25th wedding aniversary decoration. It was clear they had taken the time and effort to make our stay special. ( and for coming so quickly to let us into the villa when we got locked out ) Thank you both for looking after us so well. We also had a special evening to celebrate our anniversary, with dinner at the Italian restaurant. Our waitress, Pratima, was lovely. She was friendly, polite and happy to explain things on the menu, as well as pointing out the best spot to see the Manta's while had food, truly a great experience . And she made sure we had everything we needed. It was a special occasion for us, and she helped make the evening feel that little bit more memorable. What stands out about Villa Park for us is the people who work there. Mahmood, Yazdhan and Pratima all played their part in making this another holiday to remember, Seeing familiar faces such Manik our waiter from last year who was the first person we recognised and took care of us again this year was amazing in the service he delivered. We wanted to mention them by name because they all deserve the recognition in there own right. It was sad that the bar at the top of the island has been removed , and the water sports moved near the main complex. in place of of it new apartments are being created. but I guess this progress. We thank Villa Park directly also for the experience of flying in there seaplane . This was an unexpected surprise . Our villa was looking a bit dated now , It was the sun beach villa , but the felling of walking out straight onto the beach is magical. The entertainment is repetitive , almost the same as last year. ** Note to ( Yazdhan) take care of 'Charlie' our lizard who visited us every evening we spent on our balcony. Thank you all for making us feel so welcome, and for helping make our 25th anniversary such a lovely occasion. We have some wonderful memories to take home with us.

A memorable holiday, Villa Park made a lasting impression 🫶🏻. Well organised transfer from Male, arrived 9.30am Male and on island for 12.15pm. Greeted by our lovely host Simna Farghese, checked in, sent for lunch and in Villa for 1.15pm. Our exceptional host Simna provided our daily entertainment schedule, managed any bookings for restaurants, Spa etc, provided assistance for any queries or concerns. A true delight, Simna took all stress out of holiday planning. Special thank you to Simna for arranging special surprises for a milestone occasion, working in collaboration with house keeping, restaurants and Spa she truly made a memorable day, it was perfect 🫶🏻. My son has autism and she checked in daily to ensure everything was ok, her kindness, compassion and professionalism were exemplary. Thank you for your attention, you took away all the administrative tasks and gave us true family time. A true example of Villa Park hospitality and a true asset to their brand. We miss you, looking forward to our next visit. We stayed in Sunset deluxe beach villa and Lagoon beach pool villa during our stay. Both rooms were beautifully decorated and newly renovated. Both were fabulous family accommodation and provided different aspects of all that Villa Park has to offer. Housekeeping provided cleaning daily, replenished mini bar and provided a turn down service at night, which was a lovely touch. Housekeeping went above and beyond helping find a lost earring and general service and professionalism again exemplified Villa Park at its best. The pool guy who ensured the private pool was in prime condition daily, again unobtrusive, professional and always a delight to engage in conversation. Special thanks to Aswar Ali in Maaniya restaurant. He made our dining experience accessible and enjoyable,with a warm smile every day of our holiday. Dining with an autistic child can be challenging due to sensory overload. Aswar ensured we had quieter dining areas, taking a lot of sensory issues out of the equation enabling us to fully enjoy the fabulous food available. Your conscientiousness, professionalism and kindness totally made our holiday, we thank you for your care and attention. We miss your daily smiles, warm conversation and genuine kindness with our autistic son. Again another exemplary staff member that I associate with Villa Park. Tia in Amaaru Spa - fabulous Birds of Paradise experience. It was a memorable experience, your special surprises were truly wonderful and gratefully appreciated, I would highly recommend the spa it was stunning and perfect way to relax after long haul flights. Al pontile - thank you to staff for celebratory dinner. Food was excellent, generous in portion size and service was impeccable. Violinist and Manta Rays made for a truly ethereal night and it was magical. Teppenyaki - seafood multi course menu and sashimi were excellent with theatrical live cooking. Special thanks to Abhishek, you were a delight, thank you for your professionalism and customer service. Was a wonderful evening and would thoroughly recommend this dining experience. Vaani Coffee Shop was our other go to for food and drinks. We enjoyed brunch here on multiple occasions, chef and staff were amazing. Recommend Eggs Benedict and Caesar salad was wonderful. Lovely area to sit between 4-6pm with live music daily, wonderful views , and fabulous daily high tea. Again staff are a credit to your brand, save us a seat for our next visit 🫶🏻 Q-adventure staff were fabulous, we thoroughly enjoyed canoeing and jet skiing. We look forward to parasailing on our next adventure, thank you for bringing the fun factor. Mekuna Bar and golf bar both provided refreshments. Entertainment every night with a varied programme of fire shows, live music, games and dj. The natural Beaty of the island, cared for daily by gardening staff, raking beach at 5am, pruning palm trees and tending to the beautiful pink and red flowers, every staff member has an enormous impact and enjoyed wandering through the gardens, canopy’s of hedgerows . The landscaping is a true work of art, providing privacy to villas whilst maintaining magnificent views. Returning home, Villa Park remains in our heart, a lasting impression . . . Haste ye back!
