Heritage Awali Golf & Spa Resort

We had an amazing experience with a wine tasting on the beach and for dinner after, following the culinary calendar of Heritage Resorts - thank you so much! Ravi was also an amazing sommelier ✨kudos to you

6th time here !! So many reasons to keep coming back ! Fabulous location and sunsets - great golf course ( le chateau ) - great food - wine choice best so far ! Staff are absolutely brilliant and a big shout to Ravi ( and Benedict ) - sommelier(s) for a memorable Wine tasting evening - informative and great choice - nice to have something special offered after so many visits and loyalty !! Also shout out to Vanessa in Infinity Blue for really lolling after us and making our evening special and to Shiyama in Zafarani who went out of her way to get me some Indian Sweetmeats !!

I have a good experience in the resort specially In Infinity Blue, Shop of the resort. Food and service was excellent. Farzana in infinity Blue The Girl in the shop. Bholah in Front Office Nicholas & Ashwin in the Bar. The reception team . Sandra from Housekeeping. All these team members has made my holiday beautiful.

Pleasant enough. But nowhere near 5 star standards. Stale sweaty cushion on the bed. Sometimes turning back up to the room with no towels. The place could do with a bit of modernising, for instance the sunbeds, the covers look like they haven’t been changed for 5 years. The main restaurant buffet, not once I had turned up and all the food was hot, some lukewarm and inedible. There’s enough staff to warrant monitoring this! The barmen in the main bar “zenzibar” aren’t attentive at all a lot of times I look over and they’re stood round talking, not what I expect. The barmen at the infinity blue on the seafront however can’t do enough for you. Staff are friendly you can’t argue with this. Overall not up to par with what I’ve had before in 5 star hotels. You also have to appreciate the fact the amount of money it costs to come to such places which I didn’t think was worth it.

Beautiful location. Wonderful food and drinks. Spa treatments were fabulous. Great to have the option to use the C beach club and to access other hotels with a supplement. Can’t fault the Heritage Awali. Shout out to the bar team on the beaches and at infinity who look after guests so well and to the staff in the Savanna restaurant who are cheerful despite multiple tables and guests. We were treated to a visit to the wine cellar and a bit of wine history from Ravi, Head Sommelier, which was brilliant. The sommelier team were knowledge and helpful. A wonderful resort and one we would consider returning to.
