We wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone dreaming of an unforgettable holiday in a tropical paradise. We would absolutely love to come back again! 🌴☀️❤️

The resort is beautiful and located on the best part of the beach. Staying here is like stepping into a postcard. The rooms are nice, although somewhat dated. The staff is friendly, but many of them could use an upgrade in the english language. The food in the buffet is ok, but you get tired of it in a week. luckily there are good a'la carte restaurants to, with Magenta standing out as the best. All in all we had a very nice stay here.

This hotel Exceeded my expectations ! I had a last minute booking but nothing was too much trouble for Mr Julien reception Manager. Everything was taken care of and explained to us by Estelle and I already felt like I was walking in a dream that I wish could last. The Service was of Top standard, Clean and Well maintained. Great food choices with different cuisines. Having this opportunity to experience two resorts in one stay makes it exceptional, thank you so much Kelly for making it happen. Huge Congratulations to Mr Amrish for his Effetive Management. Keep the flag up. Looking forward in coming back very soon. In the meantime Good luck in everything.

Our dream wedding at La Pirogue ❤️💍 We stayed at La Pirogue at the beginning of October for our wedding, and we are so glad we chose this beautiful hotel for such a special occasion. Looking back, we honestly couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place to get married. From the moment we booked, we were in touch with Kavita, and we cannot thank her enough for everything she did for us. She took care of absolutely everything and made the whole wedding-planning process completely stress-free. We really did just have to turn up and enjoy our special day! ♥️ Kavita genuinely cares about making your wedding personal, unique and memorable, and every little detail she arranged felt as though it had been planned with so much love and thought. We had the most beautiful beach ceremony, with the mountains providing a stunning backdrop, followed by our wedding meal on the beach. We also enjoyed a lovely breakfast on a beautiful boat just off the beach, which was such a special experience. From the guitarist and singer who made our ceremony even more magical, to the fantastic Sega dancers, everything was wonderful. One of our favourite touches was being able to paint and sign a boat in the sand after the ceremony. It was such a thoughtful and unique idea and something we will always remember. The wedding meal was lovely, and the whole day was everything we had hoped for and more. It was clear how much care and attention had gone into making our day special, and we will always be grateful to Kavita for helping create memories we will treasure for the rest of our lives. We would also highly recommend upgrading to one of the suites if you are staying at La Pirogue. We had a suite for our stay, and it was absolutely worth it. Having our own beach gazebo and sun loungers was wonderful, and being able to order food and drinks directly to our spot on the beach made the experience even more relaxing. The butler service was fantastic, too. Our butler made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay, and our beach towels were refreshed every morning. These little touches really made us feel looked after. The food was fantastic great choice for all meals and you can also use the facilities at sugar beach, there’s plenty of choice for drinks and all the staff make the extra effort to get to know you and what you like, everybody here was extremely friendly and that made our stay even more memorable. Our wedding was the main reason for visiting Mauritius, and having never visited before, we have completely fallen in love with this beautiful island. La Pirogue made our first visit even more special, and we couldn’t imagine having chosen anywhere else for our wedding. A huge thank you to Kavita and everyone at La Pirogue for making our wedding and our holiday so magical. If you are considering getting married here or just coming for a holiday, we would highly recommend it. You will be in wonderful hands. We would also highly recommend Glow spa based at sugar beach the treatments were fantastic and the spa is stunning. Thanks again to everyone and we will definitely see you again ♥️
