Le Palmiste

We found that the Mauritian staff at the hotel to be friendly and accommodating. The hotel itself was tranquil, pleasant and in good condition. Some of the other guests appeared opposed to having children on site. There was some range of evening entertainment by JD although this was limited. We loved the traditional sega dancing, karaoke and bingo. The hotel is very close to the beach - within walking distance which is very useful. Parking at the hotel is very limited which was sometimes reserved. It is also located well for shops, bars and restaurants. We did have a few issues with falling coconuts which we were concerned about for the children's safety. Overall we enjoyed our time there and felt that the breakfast option was sufficient with a good range - we particularly enjoyed the fresh omelette Station. We felt that more emphasis should have been put on supporting guests with their luggage to and from rooms when arriving and departing. Overall a very pleasant stay in an idyllic location. We really enjoyed our time at this hotel.

We went with Thomas cook for 10 days. We had excellent experience. The hotel staff made our holiday extra ordinary such a amazing staff. Can't do enough for you. Special thanks to Mr Ramlol, Poonam, visham, and all staff in kitchen. About the hotel, it's 3 star but homely, good swimming pool, near the au biches beach, Various of food dish every night. We will definitely visit this hotel again.

I had a wonderful stay at Le Palmiste and can highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable getaway. As a solo traveler, I felt especially well taken care of from the moment I arrived. The staff made me feel genuinely welcome—everyone was incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile, which truly made my experience special. The room was spotless and very well maintained. It was clear that cleanliness is a top priority, and I felt completely comfortable throughout my stay. The food was excellent, with a great variety of delicious options, and the WiFi connection was reliable and fast, which was very convenient during my stay. I also really appreciated the safe and peaceful environment. Traveling alone, this was particularly important to me, and the hotel’s calm atmosphere allowed me to fully relax and enjoy every moment without any worries. Overall, Le Palmiste exceeded my expectations with its warm hospitality, excellent cleanliness, and strong sense of security. I would definitely love to return in the future. -Manuela Schoeller
