A very special thank you to the entertainment team, especially Daren, Laurent, Britany, Cambel and Sebastien, for their friendliness, professionalism and amazing energy. You truly made our day even more memorable! A big cheers to the fantastic bar team, especially Manaw (Beverage Manager), Ayesha (Outlet Manager) and Ramphull (Shores Bar Supervisor). Thank you for your warm welcome, outstanding service and for making every moment so special! A heartfelt appreciation also goes to Mr. Rudy Periatamby, General Manager, and Mr. Amalen Vyapooree, Assistant General Manager. Your dedication, leadership and attention to detail are truly reflected in the exceptional hospitality throughout the resort. We thoroughly enjoyed our day-package at Long Beach Hotel; excellent service, great food, and beautiful facilities. The barmen were very cool and their helpfulness was remarkable. Had a nice time at the poolside with aquagym session in the morning. Will definitely come back with many more friends.

We have just spent a wonderful week at the Long Beach hotel having spent the first week of our holiday in Grand Baie. We travelled with our two daughters age 12 and 14. This hotel is beautiful- the grounds, the pool, the beach- all stunning and well kept. We made good use of the water sports at the boat house- taking out a pedalo or the giant paddle board most days. The guys there were great! Plenty of food and drink options available- we particularly enjoyed an à la carte lunch at the Tide restaurant. The reason I haven’t given this hotel 5 stars- is we felt uncomfortable on a few occasions when staff would wave a laminated QR code in front of us and ask us to write a positive Google review for them. On one occasion, a member of staff at the buffet restaurant actually picked up my 14 year old daughter’s phone from the table, made her sign in, scanned a QR code and started writing a 5 star review for herself! This woman hadn’t even served us! I intervened and told her to stop- but not before the waitress had already managed to write her name and give herself 5 stars. This is totally unacceptable and really makes you think whether the majority of reviews mentioning staff on here are actually genuine or not? Anyway- this did not take away the shine from a fabulous holiday and an amazing time at Long Beach. The majority of staff were wonderful and we would have been happy to write good reviews- but not under so much pressure.

I would highly recommend a stay at this resort! From the attentive and genuinely friendly staff to the exceptional food and fantastic facilities, everything contributed to a wonderful holiday. The food was a particular highlight, with an excellent variety of options to suit every taste. The resort’s location along a long, beautiful private beach was another real bonus, while the swimming pool and range of water sports, including paddleboarding, made it easy to relax, stay active and make the most of our time there. As someone who enjoys keeping fit, I was particularly impressed with the gym. My partner and I are avid gym-goers back home, so it was a real pleasure to find a well-equipped fitness centre with a good range of equipment — something that can often be lacking in hotels. The paddle and tennis courts were also excellent. Another fantastic perk was the inclusion of free green fees and transport to the local golf courses, with only club hire and buggies costing extra. It’s the little details that really set this resort apart. From having an umbrella conveniently provided in the room for the occasional October tropical shower to the lovely surprise of a birthday cake for my partner’s birthday, the resort clearly goes the extra mile to make guests feel welcome and special. My top tip for future guests would be to opt for the all-inclusive package, if available. It takes the stress out of budgeting for meals and drinks and offers an extensive selection of food, house cocktails and beers. There’s also the flexibility to treat yourself to premium cocktails and dishes for a small additional charge. Overall, this resort truly ticks all the boxes: an excellent location, outstanding food, fantastic sports and leisure facilities, and warm, attentive service. Whether you’re looking for relaxation, sporting activities or a little bit of both, it has something for everyone. We had a fantastic stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this resort to anyone looking for a memorable holiday!

My experience at Long Beach, Mauritius, has been truly unforgettable. I had the wonderful opportunity to spend six months here as a Housekeeping Intern, and this journey has taught me so much, not only professionally but also personally. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the entire Long Beach team for their kindness, support, guidance, and encouragement throughout my internship. A special thanks to our Executive Housekeeper, Jessica Ma'am, and Assistant Executive Housekeeper, Khamajeet Sir, and amarjeet sir for their leadership, guidance, and continuous motivation. My heartfelt thanks to Mehess Sir, Deevesh Sir, Anousha Ma'am, Indiren Sir, Govind Sir, Bhurosah Sir, Ritesh Sir, Varsha Ma'am, Avishake Sir, Eric Sir, and everyone in the housekeeping department who made my journey so special. Thanks to all room attendants as well... I would also like to thank Magalie Ma'am and Girisha Ma'am for their coordination and support. From housekeeping operations, room cleaning, laundry, public areas, and turndown service to learning about guest satisfaction and hotel standards, every experience helped me grow and become more confident. What makes Long Beach special is not just its beautiful property and hospitality but also its amazing people. The teamwork, positive environment, and willingness of staff to teach and support others make this place truly memorable. I came here as a student, but I am leaving with valuable knowledge, beautiful memories, and relationships that I will always cherish.
