LUX* Grand Gaube

Travelled to Lux Grand Gaube with my husband and our 5-month-old. The hotel staff were so friendly and welcoming towards our baby (and us). The hotel also had everything we needed for the baby. It had a menu where you could order baby items such as a changing table, bathtub, bottle steriliser, etc. The kitchen even made baby purées if we needed them. The food at the hotel was also great! The atmosphere in general was very relaxing, even for us travelling with an infant. A special thanks to the pool boy, Manav, who was super friendly and fun every time we were relaxing by the main pool. We also went to the spa, which was fantastic! The hotel had lots of options on stuff to do, which was nice since there is not much outside the hotel within walking distance. Every week there is a schedule of stuff to do. I did a 40 min barista course which was fun and also a power walk outside the hotel were a guide took us around the area. The only thing I would point out is that the hotel might be getting a bit dated. Nothing major, but you do notice that it’s not brand new anymore. All in all, a fabulous and relaxing stay here!

We had a wonderful week at the Hotel Grande Gaube. The hotel rooms were large, very clean and comfortable. We were half board and dined in all of the restaurants except INTI. The food on offer was delicious, we especially liked Bodrum Blue and Beach Rouge. The food in the main dining room was also delicious with an enormous choice of offer. Breakfast choice was amazing. The beach and pool area were also very well maintained with fresh towels also available. We also went to the spa and 2 of our group had massages which were excellent. We also liked the relaxed coffee bar and Sylvano was especially helpful as was Kaviraj at Bodrum Blue. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a relaxed beach break in sunny Mauritius

A heartfelt thank you to the amazing team at the Lux Grande Gaube hotel where we stayed for 10 days for our honeymoon celebrations. Special shout out to Jamellio for a perfect bowl of spaghetti, Dana, Deepuko, Maiira, Chetan and Yasmin, all of whom contributed to an amazing stay with their generosity, hospitality, kindness, and thoughtfulness. Grateful for an unforgettable trip, amazing staff, impeccable amenities and we are looking forward to our next stay at a Lux Hotel.

We visited for our second time, this time bringing family members with us. We had a fabulous stay, yet again. We did notice that some areas of the hotel were looking a little tired since our last stay, such as flaking paint in our room, build-up on toilet flushers in our room and public areas, broken blinds in our room. Definitely recommend the All Inclusive package - the food and drink all lovely. In particular we enjoyed eating at Inti on our last night, it was definitely worth paying the extra for. The guys working on the beach are so lovely and friendly, as are the waiting-on staff in all the restaurants and the housekeeping staff.

An Unforgettable Stay – Thank You to the Amazing Team! My daughter and I spent 10 wonderful days at LUX Grand Hotel in Mauritius, and we truly felt at home. As a wheelchair user, I would especially like to highlight the outstanding accessibility and the incredible kindness, warmth, and professionalism of the entire team. They went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and exceeded all our expectations. A special thank you to Shila, Ramesch, and Ricardo, and an especially heartfelt thank you to Reedoo and his amazing team, who made it possible for me to enjoy swimming with a water wheelchair and ensured that my time at the beach was as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
