LUX* Grand Gaube

We spent a glorious 9 days at the resort and have been completely blown away by how fantastic this place is. There are lots of amenities including 6 restaurants and so many activities. The food has been amazing and next level. The buffet is the most extensive ive ever seen. But most of all the staff have all been so friendly and welcoming. A particular shout out to Yosra, Max, Tisha and Kunal who made our stay so special!

We had our honeymoon here and absolutely loved it. The hotel was incredible, right from the choice of food/drinks at all the available restaurants through to every single member of staff there. We overheard many others saying how they had stayed before and we can see why. Special shout out to Ashwan who served us multiple times throughout our stay - his attention to detail and thoughtful acts of service throughout our stay really made it memorable. The choice of two beaches, one which was adult only, was also great. Couldn't fault the hotel at all, rooms were amazing and for honeymooners like us the additional experiences we got were amazing - from cocktail making to a honeymooners breakfast, to bubbles and canapes delivered to our room and the free credit to use for treatments in the spa, Lux Grand Gaube really look after you! Thank you once again for making our honeymoon memorable - and we hope to be back in the near future!

LUX* Grand Gaube is a beautiful five-star resort that offers a wonderful holiday experience. The stunning location, tropical surroundings, excellent facilities and welcoming atmosphere make it a fantastic place to relax and unwind. The resort has so much to offer, and the overall experience is one to remember. One area I would love to see improved is the entertainment and atmosphere within The Banyan, the adults-only section. Having experienced the vibrant atmosphere at LUX* Grand Baie, particularly at its Beach Rouge lounge, I feel there is an opportunity to bring a similar sense of energy and ambience to Grand Gaube’s adults-only area. Beach Rouge creates a wonderful holiday atmosphere through its music, social vibe and relaxed yet lively setting. It would be fantastic to experience more of this at The Banyan, with regular background music throughout the day, live acoustic performances and occasional DJ sessions around the adults-only pool and beach. I appreciate that Grand Gaube has its own distinct character, and the peaceful surroundings are certainly part of its appeal. However, I believe a little more regular music and entertainment would offer the perfect balance between relaxation and vibrancy, giving adult guests more opportunities to socialise, enjoy a drink and soak up the holiday atmosphere without needing to leave the adults-only section. Overall, LUX* Grand Gaube is a superb resort, and I would happily recommend it. With a little more of the lively, sophisticated atmosphere that makes Beach Rouge at LUX* Grand Baie so appealing, The Banyan could become an even more memorable destination for adults seeking the ultimate luxury holiday experience. We stayed at the LUX Grand Gaube* from 19th September to 4th October 2026, and what an unforgettable experience it was! We began our holiday, got married at the hotel, and were incredibly lucky to then spend our honeymoon in this beautiful paradise. It truly was the most perfect place to celebrate such a special time in our lives. We chose the Infinity Wedding Package, and our wedding was absolutely amazing. Getting married on the beach was so romantic and magical, creating memories we will treasure forever. A very special thank you to our wonderful wedding coordinator, Nitishia, who was amazing throughout our stay. Her care, professionalism and attention to detail helped make everything so special and stress-free. We are also incredibly grateful to Sharonnne, who did my hair and makeup. She was so professional, talented and lovely, and made me feel amazing on our wedding day. The hotel itself is exceptional — another level of luxury. From the stunning grounds and beautiful surroundings to the sheer elegance of the resort, everything was incredible. However, what really makes this hotel stand out is its phenomenal staff, whose warmth, kindness and dedication made our experience truly unforgettable. We honestly couldn't have wished for a more perfect place to get married and spend our honeymoon. We’ve just got home from a thoroughly enjoyable honeymoon at the Lux Grand Gaube. Everything from the staff to the food is exceptional and well worth a visit. We spent most of our time on the beach where we were well looked after by Reedoo, Kumar and the rest of their colleagues who made sure we never went thirsty! We also went on a day trip with Captain Tom for snorkelling and a lovely bbq on a nearby island - I would definitely recommend this - Tom is so friendly and we had a great day. The hotel is spotless and well maintained - we did have a couple of minor issues with our room during our stay but they were very quickly rectified by the maintenance/housekeeping team. The food is one of the best parts of this hotel. There’s so much choice. We had some great meals at the buffet, BB’s, the creole smokehouse and Bodrum Blue. Our favourite meal of the holiday though was at Inti - fabulous food and great service from our waiter Yasser and we absolutely loved Freddie the singer/guitarist. We had a late flight home and unfortunately late checkout was unavailable, however we were pleasantly surprised by the “Curtesy Lounge” that was available for us to use after we had checked out of our room. Each individual room is spacious and fully equipped with shower, hairdryer, toiletries etc which made our last day much more relaxing. We had an amazing time and can’t wait to come back in the future.
