Maritim Resort & Spa Mauritius

Absolutely fantastic resort.

We stayed at the the resort from 13th Oct to 22nd Oct 26. We were there for a friends wedding. It was the perfect setting for the wedding, which happened in the large pergola by the sea. The resort is located in the North west of Mauritius, close to a lot of the main places to visit, including Port Louis. We stayed in a very comfortable air conditioned, deluxe room with an amazing view over the beautiful gardens and in sight of the sea. Every where on the resort is a short walk, with the longest walk from our room being the giant tortoises, which was about 8 mins amble. There is a lovely river walk that takes in the Chateau and follows the River Citron out to the sea. The resort boat yard, has a good selection of craft, paddle boards, wind surfers, canoes, peddle boats, Laser dinghy's and catamarans. I took out a laser which was fantastic fun, secure in the knowledge that there was a waiting recue boat. Horse riding is also available. We took a ride in a glass bottomed boat over the reef. Nearly all of the activities are included regardless of package you are on. You just need to book them with your room number. I even managed some time in the very well equipped gym. The on site Spa offers a wide range of treatments that are reasonably priced and perform in a beautiful setting. We ate mainly at the buffet, which offed a very wide range of globally inspired delicious cuisine. There are other restaurants available and these need to be booked. Again the food and ambiance at each was lovely. The Chateau Mon Disr is a must, if you want to experience near Michelin quality cuisine in a gorgeous tropical setting. Our evenings, after dinner were spent with our friends at the quarter deck bar or the beach bar. These were never crowed or noisy, in fact the whole resort had a very calm atmosphere. The thing that made our stay truly wonderful was the staff. Everyone we met was friendly, warm and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we were looked after. A couple of honourable mentions, Ranjeet, Hellen, Jay and Grace, who work in the bars, were amazing. The Chefs in the buffet particularly the lady who cooked my fresh omelette every morning. All of the Staff at the Maritim were amazing and the heart of the resort. We had an amazing stay and will be back. I would recommend the resort to anyone whether a family, couple or solo. Thank you Maritim. ❤️

What an absolutely fantastic resort! We had the most wonderful stay and honestly couldn’t fault a thing. The location is simply stunning, with beautiful surroundings that make it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The staff were amazing from start to finish. So friendly, welcoming and attentive, always going above and beyond to make sure everyone had the best possible experience. Nothing was ever too much trouble. The food was outstanding too, with plenty of choice, beautifully prepared and presented. Delicious! A huge thank you to the entire team for making our holiday so special. It’s the combination of a beautiful location, fantastic food and genuinely lovely staff that makes this resort stand out. We would highly recommend it to anyone and would absolutely love to return. We had a wonderful 7-night stay at Maritim! The absolute highlight of our family holiday was the exceptional service we received from Mukesh and Dinesh. Their attention to detail, genuine warmth, and attentiveness went far beyond our expectations and made our stay truly special.
