Maritim Resort & Spa Mauritius

Just returned from this wonderful hotel celebrating our very special anniversary. The hotel was perfect and ticked all the boxes for us - our room was huge, spotless and had a stunning view of the sea. The grounds were well kept, the beach was lovely and we never struggled to find a sun bed. All the staff were so friendly and welcoming and always asking if we needed anything. We ate in the Buffett, The la maree, the banyan and the Anno restaurant (had a fabulous fillet steak) and my gluten allergy was well catered for in all the restaurants. However the standout restaurant for us was the la Maree. The setting on the beach was stunning and we felt very spoilt having a lobster meal in a fire heart on the beach on our anniversary. We had breakfast on the beach everyday at La maree looking out to sea and chose to have lunch there as well most days as the setting was so beautiful and the food extremely good and well presented . All the staff were brilliant and the hotel management should be very proud of their staff who are huge asset to this hotel, from the grounds people to the managers everyone was helpful, smiley and nothing was to much trouble, and a special thank you to - Grace, Veern, Sarita and Rossick. The entertainment in the bar was very low key, there was a good saxophonist who played a few nights but the set up was some distance from the guests and therefore he was mainly ignored . There was a trio who were great and engaged with the guests but finished early on in the evening . Music was played later in the evening but did not seem to engage with the guests. We appreciate that this hotel has low key entertainment and it was not something high on our list of requirements, but having slightly more music or maybe trying to engage more with the guests might be something the hotel would want to consider. Overall this was 10/10 hotel for us and we will be returning .

We had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The food was absolutely excellent, everything was delicious and beautifully prepared. The service was truly spectacular, and Davinson was incredibly attentive, friendly, and made us feel very welcome throughout our entire visit. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great food and exceptional service. We will definitely come back!

Absolutely amazing shisha experience with Hesh! The quality, flavour, smoke, and presentation were all exceptional. Hesh is extremely professional, friendly, and clearly passionate about what he does. The shisha was smooth, long-lasting, and perfectly prepared. You can really see the experience and attention to detail in every shisha. If you’re looking for premium shisha in Mauritius, Hesh is definitely someone you need to try. One of the best shisha experiences I’ve ever had! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly recommended! 🔥💨 Will definitely come back and have shisha with him again 💨

Very beautiful resort. Very friendly service. Everyone very helpful especial our butler and the suite beach attendant all of whom were forever looking for ways to make our stay more enjoyable. The restaurant staff were friendly but could do with a bit more training to be more proactive. And for my breakfast if I asked for muesli and an omelette I expect the muesli to come first! The buffet has a good range of food but it was not as tasty as in the a la carte restaurants. We really enjoyed the Anno restaurant. The tortoise pfarm is really special. Great. Room is a little tired but the cleaning was always done well.
