OUTRIGGER Mauritius Beach Resort

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Outrigger Mauritius and couldn’t be happier with our experience! The staff were truly exceptional – incredibly attentive, genuinely warm and exceptionally friendly. Our wishes were practically anticipated before we even had the chance to express them. The level of hospitality and personal attention was simply outstanding. The entire hotel grounds are stunning and immaculately maintained, with cleanliness of the highest standard. The food was excellent, both at lunchtime and in the evening, and the breakfast buffet offered an amazing variety. Room service was absolutely perfect, too. The beautiful beach and the wonderful spa area made our stay even more special and provided the perfect setting for relaxation. We would like to say a heartfelt THANK YOU to the entire team for making our holiday so memorable. Your dedication, kindness and outstanding service made us feel truly welcome and pampered. We will most definitely be back! ❤️

Nice Hotel.very beautiful Beach.Nice Views.Tropical aplace.

Everything was perfect Service, food, personnel friendly and very professional particularly Mr Runga at the Mercado and Mrs Natacha at the sports centre. Only negative points are the stray dogs/cats in the main bar and restaurants which could bring diseases. But if you want more businesses my suggestion will be a thorough renovation of the whole premises as most of the amenities are outdated and not to the standard of to day.

Went here with the family for my 40th birthday Where to start……as someone who worked 18 years in hospitality and catering……The beach bar staff and so called bar “manager” really let this place down!! Only 1 bar waitress was actually working and seeing to holiday makers for drink and food service. The manager stands hiding in the corner when you people were raising questions on ‘where are our drinks which were ordered over 20 minutes ago?’ ‘Where’s our food?’ The staff state they are “busy”, busy standing doing nothing and laughing in a small room next to the kitchen area. The beach bar staff lack attentiveness, never smile and when you approach them to order food and drink you’re made to feel that you’re being a burden! On one occasion with just 7 people sat in the bar, after 25 minutes from ordering our drinks and food, noticed that no one appeared to be making any drinks and the chef was not cooking anything, on approaching the staff they all started sniggering and walked away asides from the female barmaid who then informed us no order had been out through and again the “bar manager” just turning his back to us. Not just us having issues saw on so many occasions other holiday makers constantly chasing their orders throughout the day and evening. Oh and if you order a nice latte expected it to magically transform from a hot latte to what might as well be an iced latte as it sits on the bar for at least 25/30minutes before its served to you, the bar manager even tried to call us a liar on one occasion stating he had only “just made it himself” until he felt the cup and quickly apologised and remade them! Who loves a nice fresh pĩna colada??? Well don’t expect to get one here, as per the picture, a cocktail which contains fresh cream pre made and left sat on the side in 27’c the cream so warm it split from the rest of the ingredients in a bid to try and escape, oh and reusing containers to refill with pre made mixes without even washing them huge health and safety concerns right there, when the staff were asked why they premake pĩna coladas knowing it contains fresh cream they just smiled and continued and the bar manger over hearing and was probably the fasted I’ve seen him move in a bid to run away! The restaurant set out as a buffet style spread all over the place with no system to it making it very confusing, and unless you get a made to order omelette or fresh fried egg for breakfast, don’t expect to be eating hot food (which should be hot) in the main restaurant. Staff slightly more attentive but was often dependent on which restaurant manager was working. Housekeeping were fab! Rooms made clean and tidy and fresh bottled water constantly provided each day and same for the entertainment team. It’s such a shame the catering team let this place down massively, if I was still working in catering and hospitality I would definitely love to turn this into what would and should be an amazing team providing the best service to all their holiday makers, there’s only a few tiny changes needed, the first one being a new manager who actually manages and staff being provided moral and better training and who knows maybe they’d make some tips.

Lovely place. However we went to renew our wedding vows here and felt the person doing the ceremony should have spent a few minutes of his time getting to know us. We did go beforehand to discuss our vows and the man said he was preparing them now and it was a surprise for us. Had photographer and videography taken of the ceremony, however the surprise vows discussed me looking after my children and my husband to protect us - DO NOT HAVE CHILDREN SO THE VOWS HE WROTE AS A ‘SURPRISE’ FOR US KIND OF RUINED THE CEREMONY. These things shouldn’t be assumed and understand some PEOPLE ARENT ABLE TO HAVE CHILDREN. What an absolute flop that was. Everything else has been ok and staff are lovely 😪Just don’t renew your vows there
