Paradise Cove Boutique Hotel

Paradise Cove Boutique Hotel is in 2 words, truely amazing . From the welcome you receive as soon as you arrive and room familiarisation from the hotel staff . What stands out for me is the attention to detail in all aspects, from amazing food and dining , entertainment the hotel itself and the amazing staff who are extremely attentive in how they provide service during your stay, nothing is too much trouble for them . 2 members of staff who stood out for me are Sandeep who is on placement at the hotel to gain experience for his hospitality qualification . Always pre empting and very attentive to customers needs and on the other hand Manoj who has over 30 years service working for the hotel , also providing superb customer service with his big smile that would light up a room . I can’t speak highly enough of Paradise Cove Boutique Hotel , it is a place I would urge people to visit without hesitation. Thankyou

We returned last week from an incredible 10 night stay at Paradise Cove. The hotel itself was wonderful, in a beautiful location. The pools and beach area were all meticulously maintained and the perfect place to relax. The staff and service were also excellent, both around the pools and in the bar areas. We especially loved the call for service button on the umbrellas around the pools. There was attention to detail in the decor of the rooms and communal areas that made the hotel really feel like home. The food and drink offering included as part of the all inclusive package was exceptional. Every drink you could ever want was included, as was a wide offering at all of the restaurants (with the exception of The Cove, where AI guests got a 20% discount). We especially loved XO. The evening entertainment was also exactly what we wanted, usually consisting of a musician followed by a singer. If we had one comment for improvement, it would be that the Stay bar would ideally stay open for an extra 30 minutes as there were often quite a few people still in there at closing time who would have stayed for another drink if it was an option. We opted to take a taxi tour of the island one day. Our driver David was very knowledgable and took us to all the spots we were hoping to see. Would definitely recommend doing this if you get chance as it was a great chance to see more of beautiful Mauritius. We also loved seeing all the wildlife around the hotel, especially the various birds and flying foxes. We were also very impressed by the steps that the hotel takes to look after the local animals and environment. The couples wellness massage at the spa was very relaxing and we would highly recommend this. Especially as AI guests get 50% off if you have this within the first few days of your stay - this worked out as about £45pp which is a bargain. There isn’t a lot to see if you swim out of the cove, and the water is quite murky with poor visibility, but the daily complimentary snorkelling trip offered the chance to see some more marine life. We also were lucky enough to see a few turtles off the coast when having lunch in Peninsula. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this hotel. We will be back!

We had such an amazing stay at Paradise Cove and honestly didn’t want to leave. The hotel itself is beautiful, but for us it was the staff that really made it. Everyone we met was so friendly and welcoming and always had a smile on their face. Yashna at reception was absolutely amazing throughout our stay. She was such a lovely person and took great care of us the whole time. She was genuinely such a pleasure to deal with. She made our stay that much more special. We also had a fantastic evening at The Peninsula. The food was amazing and definitely some of the best we had during our stay. Chef Yan coming out to see us personally was a really lovely touch. Sandeep, Rajesh and Dancan from the restaurant team were also brilliant. They were great fun, really friendly and we always enjoyed seeing them when we went for dinner. Melissa in the shop was absolutely lovely, and we really enjoyed going in to see her during our stay. There were so many other members of staff who were brilliant as well, and unfortunately we can’t remember everyone’s names, but we really do want to say thank you to the whole team. We had the most amazing time at Paradise Cove and we will absolutely be coming back. We’ve made many special memories here and will definitely be recommending it to friends and family. Thank you to everyone at Paradise Cove

Every member of staff is wonderful and helpful, every guest is made to feel very special. Staff are happy in their jobs. Paradise Cove is tranquil, secluded, and has beautiful views of the Indian Ocean. The pathways through tropical gardens enhance the natural beauty. Secluded cabanas facing the sea and cove are great. Excellent food at every meal. Rooms are beautiful and serviced excellently. When one of our party had an accident on an excursion outside the hotel (not arranged by the hotel), the staff could not do enough for us. If we go back to Mauritius - it will definitely be at the Paradise Cove. If you want peace and tranquillity with excellent food, a beautiful room and great service I would highly recommend this hotel. Steve and Lesley.

We stayed for 8 nights in mid-September and had a wonderful and enjoyable stay. We had a standard room on the 2nd floor with great views onto the cove and the sea just beyond. The room was spacious, clean, and felt very boutique like in style. Housekeeping kept the room very clean and we appreciated their evening check for pool towel changes and water. The food was exceptional - as two foodies, we went with high hopes after seeing photos on socials and the website! It certainly impressed us both, and we'll be dreaming about those lovely long 3-course Peninsula lunches often! We dined across the three restaurants included in the all-inclusive packing and our favourite was the Peninsula. The buffet in The Dining Room for both breakfast and dinner was of a high standard, with the speciality nights being really well put together. We enjoyed the Stay Bar in the evenings and found all of the musicians and entertainment to be really good. We were surprised at how quiet the bar was in the evenings, even when the music and singers were on. The only negative I provided in the departure survey was that the bar service was often very slow. This is a little picky, and I had read this in others reviews before visiting, but honestly, it is something that I feel is relevant for such an award-winning hotel to take note of and consider improving. One morning at the main pool we ordered a coke and a mocktail and despite there being only a handful of people around the pool, we waited 50 minutes. The evening service was also usually very slow - the making and delivery of drinks over the waiter service, again even when there wasn't orders ahead of us to hold up service. It was strange in that there was usually lots of staff working, so we found the length of making drinks and serving them a bit odd. The setting of the hotel in the cove is just beautiful, and we loved the different views and scenery, especially from the top of the Peninsula across to the islands - we loved the sunset vibes DJ and cocktails at the Peninsula bar! We were always able to get sun loungers as the hotel endorses a strict "no reserve" policy, but honestly, I think the type of guests who stay here just wouldn't be into this anyway! Those loungers facing out to the ocean on the top did go very early and we weren't able to get these whenever we tried (despite going up for 9am!), but there were always plenty of other options in different locations. Overall, we had such a great experience and holiday.
