Radisson Blu Azuri Resort and Spa Mauritius

We stayed here during the October half-term break and had a really lovely holiday. Despite it being half term, there were plenty of sunbeds available, both around the hotel and on the beach, so we never had any trouble finding somewhere to relax. The staff were absolutely amazing – so friendly, welcoming and helpful. They really do make this hotel! Nothing ever seemed too much trouble, and they deserve a huge amount of credit. It was great to be able to take part in some of the fitness classes, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The gym was a good size, although it was a shame that only one of the running machines was working during our stay. I'm sure this is something that will be rectified. We hired bikes for an hour and cycled into Rivière du Rempart and back, stopping off to visit a temple and pop into a local shop. We also made use of the hotel's activities and took out a kayak, which was great fun. There is plenty to keep you occupied if you want to be active during your stay. The beach is probably the only real downside to this hotel. Unfortunately, there isn't any snorkelling directly from the beach. However, the hotel organises daily boat trips to different snorkelling locations, which more than makes up for this. We saw some amazing marine life, including pufferfish, triggerfish and angelfish, as well as some species I had never seen before. Each trip visits a different spot, so you get to experience a variety of underwater life. The food was really enjoyable, with different themed evenings offering a great variety of dishes to choose from. We particularly enjoyed this and I absolutely loved the curries, with the Mutta Aloo being a particular favourite of mine! We also visited all three of the speciality restaurants. Unfortunately, we weren't particularly impressed with the food or atmosphere in the Italian, so didn't return. Black Rock served great burgers and chips, which we really enjoyed. The Nines golf restaurant was another favourite, with excellent food, and we enjoyed it so much that we went back for a second visit. One word of warning, though – watch out for the mosquitoes! The windows are kept open, and despite wearing a long dress, I was bitten quite badly. I'd definitely recommend wearing long sleeves and trousers if you visit in the evening. The stargazing evening was absolutely brilliant and something we really enjoyed. There were so many interesting facts we hadn't known before, and we were lucky enough to see the moon, Saturn and more. Definitely worth doing, but another occasion when you'll want to remember the mosquito repellent! We also did the five-island tour, organised through the hotel, and it was a fabulous day out. We saw dolphins, fed monkeys, learnt a little about the local history and enjoyed some rum on the boat. A fantastic excursion and one I'd definitely recommend. Our sea-view room was a great size, and I particularly liked the separate toilet and bathroom, which was a nice touch. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would happily return. There is plenty to do if you want to be active, great food, lovely surroundings and a really relaxed atmosphere. However, the biggest highlight has to be the staff. They genuinely make this hotel what it is. A huge thank you to everyone, with a very special mention to Ramesh and the boys on reception, who were fantastic throughout our stay.

We stayed at the Radisson Blu Azuri for our honeymoon, and the hotel made it unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The room: Our room with a private pool was huge and absolutely stunning. It was spotless every day, and the housekeeping team always made sure everything was perfect. Having our own pool was a dream. Activities: There is so much to do here. Kayaking, cave exploration, swimming, golf lessons, padel, the spa, stargazing, and two large pools. The beach in front of the hotel isn't ideal for snorkeling, but that's no problem at all. A boat takes you to a huge area with brilliant blue-green water, where the snorkeling is fantastic. Buggies take you wherever you need to go on the property. Service: The service is the best we have ever experienced. Every team member genuinely cares. They constantly checked whether we were happy, asked how our day was, and wanted to know how we liked Mauritius. A very special thank you to Vinay, who gave us great advice, arranged wonderful tours for us, and went above and beyond. The romantic candlelight dinner for our honeymoon was a beautiful surprise. Food: The main restaurant offers a great buffet, and there are several other options like a steakhouse, an Italian restaurant, and fine dining. There is something for every taste. Verdict: Whether you want relaxation, adventure, or romance, this resort delivers. It is perfectly suited for honeymooners and couples, and it stands out as one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. We would return in a heartbeat and recommend it without hesitation. Five stars, truly top! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Our first time abroad for a big holiday and it couldn’t have gone any better. Was perfect in every way. Staff were very attentive. Every need catered for and the lounge for early arrivals and late departures is a great touch. First time I have experienced this. Already miss it and we were looking at dates to come back next year.

Just returned from 12 amazing days in Mauritius celebrating my husbands 50th. The hotel is within a gated complex so is quiet but is set in beautiful surroundings. We had a villa which had a large comfy bed with plenty of storage. Small Pool that was cleaned every day and sheltered from the wind. Staff were amazing and super friendly and always ready to help - special thanks to Kavita who kept our room spotless, Shyvam who made sure we always had drinks and more! Dorcas in the beach towel hut who always had a sunny smile for everyone - she even went the extra distance to bring our beach towels to us on the beach. Vinay who made our stay even more special by helping us book some fantastic trips and organised a special birthday dinner and cake for my husband - Vinay is your go to man at the hotel for anything you need he’s brilliant and so lovely! There is only one all inclusive buffet and bar in the hotel. The food selection at the buffet was a little limited to what we have been used to at other all inclusive hotels. Having said that we always found something to eat and the food was hot and tasty - curries were especially delicious. The grill and cafe are separate from the hotel and we were a little confused at first by the credit system for these. At the grill you are allocated 700 rupees per person per day for lunch and then 1000 per person per day for dinner. At the cafe you pay during the day. In the evening it turns into an Italian restaurant and you are allocated 700 credits per person per day for food, drinks here are unlimited. We never seemed to go over our limit. Beach is clean - there is quite a bit of seaweed but it’s removed every day Plenty of sunbeds and safe swimming. Great water sports and regular boat trips out to snorkel, to the swim platform and a glass bottom boat. Take some water shoes as there is a lot of coral. Would definitely go back.

We loved this hotel and genuinely feel that we've never met lovelier people than the staff working here - every single person we met went above and beyond to help! Special mention to the staff at The Black Rock - all really great but especially James Bond! Rahul the manager was also great! 😊 Loved all the a la carte restaurants, amazing food at The Nine, and gorgeous views for lunch there. We wasn't keen on the prospect of getting an allowance rather than it just being 'all inclusive', but once we got the hang of it it was fine. Rooms were really spacious and clean, beach was good, water sports were good, entertainment was hit and miss - few good and a few bad! Overall we had a really great time and would definitely recommend.
