Riu Turquoise

Disappointing restaurant capacity and poor service It is simply unacceptable that a hotel offering three restaurants has such limited capacity that guests cannot actually book them. Despite being on an all-inclusive package, practically everything was fully booked before we even arrived – and reservations can only be made upon arrival! As a result, we ended up eating at the same restaurant four out of five nights. Even worse was the horrific handling of pool towels. Guests are entitled to one towel per day, but because we were five people staying in two rooms, the hotel somehow couldn’t manage to provide towels for all five of us. We escalated these issues, but the hotel failed to resolve them satisfactorily. These are basic operational matters that a hotel of this standard should be able to handle. Unfortunately, they significantly affected our overall impression and enjoyment of the stay.

For the first time of my holidays experience, i have nothing to complain about. Great experience throughout our stay.

We visited RIU Turquoise for a wedding and stayed for 7 days, with a large group of family and friends all at the resort together. We had such a lovely experience from start to finish and really enjoyed our time there. From the moment we arrived, the reception staff were welcoming, informative and helpful. The gentleman who assisted with our bags was also incredibly friendly and made arrival really easy. Throughout the week, the staff across the restaurants and bars were consistently kind, attentive and accommodating, which made such a difference when travelling as a big group. The cleaning staff were also fantastic. Our room was always kept clean and comfortable, and everything was consistently well looked after throughout our stay. A very special shout-out to Rakesh at the Lagoon Bar. He was absolutely fantastic throughout our stay, always friendly, welcoming and attentive, and he really went out of his way to make sure we were looked after. He definitely stood out and added something extra to the experience for us. The rooms were comfortable and more than suitable for a week-long stay. We also really appreciated the 24-hour Sports Bar, especially having food available at any time, which was such a convenient extra. The resort worked so well for a wedding group and we made some really special memories there. We had a wonderful 7 days and would happily recommend RIU Turquoise to anyone visiting Mauritius.

Jahmel and Yash were so amazing!!! Very entertaining and friendly ! I would actually visit RIU Mauritius because of then. My husband and I had the best time with them!
