Riu Turquoise

We had a wonderful time at Riu Turquoise. We really enjoyed our stay, the atmosphere and the great service. Special thanks to the barmen Anooj, Chitresh and Nikhil for their kindness and excellent service. Also, a big thank you to the animation team, especially Leo and Lionel for making our experience even more enjoyable. You all made our stay memorable. Keep up the great work! Highly recommended!

Anyone wanting a hotel just go to The LUX Grand Gaube or Le Morne, I just came from there and it probably played a big factor in this downgrade, I’d let all of this go if it didn’t cost a lot per night but I picked this place because it is portrayed as a high end hotel, more expensive than others and offers great if not excellent service which it just didn’t. If they offered me a free night or two here I’d still say I’m good, I’d literally rather pay a place for what they say they offer and just receive that and be grateful like at The LUX. The food it’s disgusting, not fresh as it’s mostly frozen packaged meat which is fake meat, cooked in bulk ages before in too much seed oils and then left to dry out. I don’t drink alcohol but I think that’s the only reason people come here to just sedate themselves until they don’t know any better. Probably the most disappointed I’ve ever been with a holiday but my stay at The LUX JUST BEFORE THIS WAS ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC SO THE HOLIDAY WAS STILL AMAZING AND THE LOCALS IN Mauritius and the beaches, snorkelling and fishing is out of this world; all immensely beautiful. Definitely come to Mauritius but I’d just pick a different hotel than this one. I hope this prevents someone experiencing my disappointment and waste of money and time. Cheers, Angus Wells Room 1151

Had a great time with the family...the Hotel is beautifully situated on Le Morne beach, amazing views/sunset over the mountains and ocean, delicious food and plenty of activities to have fun... Kudos to Mr Vivek. Will be back soon!!!

My daughter and I stayed at the hotel, and we had a wonderful experience. The food was excellent, our room was cleaned every day, and the minibar was replenished every other day, with everything included in the price. We were especially pleased that the use of the SUP boards, kayaks and pedal boats was also included in the price. We took advantage of this several times and really enjoyed going kayaking! We truly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday with great food, excellent service and fun activities included in the price. We would love to come back again!

From the minute we got out of the taxi and walked into the hotel we were greeted with friendly faces we were advised go for some breakfast and then return to reception to be allocated our room. We did as advised and on return the room was ready for us great as it was only 9.00am. The room was very comfortable and quiet overlooking the turquoise waters. Everywhere in the hotel was clean nothing was too much trouble for anyone and the staff were always smiling. The pools were well maintained although we didn’t use the main pool with the pool bar it was quite noisy. The second pool was very relaxing and had plenty of lounger’s available. The sports bar is open 24/7 with a good selection of drinks and snacks. The only downside to the holiday was the building work being undertaken using scaffolding which when being assembled and dismantled was a concern as no safety notices were in place and with many young children and older persons could have benefited from this. The onsite restaurants offered plenty of choice and you would have to be a very picky person if you could not find something to enjoy. The hotel is definitely worth a visit.
