SALT of Palmar

Had a wonderful stay at Salt of Palmar! A cozy and peaceful hotel, perfect for relaxing and disconnecting from daily life. A special thank you to the F&B team for their excellent service, especially Mr. Med and his team, who made our stay even more enjoyable. Looking forward to seeing you all again soon!

We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights in a Garden View room. Warm welcome, short tour of the hotel and facilities. Room - spacious with very comfortable bed. Open bathroom and Japanese style toilet. Restaurant - we stayed on the full board package and also took the drink package. Very good value for money! The food was great from breakfast to dinner. Tasty and plentiful and service attentive. Special thanks Rowit and Dashak! Nice cocktail and wine list. Pool & Beach - pool area is small but very cosy and was never packed. Same for the beach area. Comfortable loungers, beach boy bringing food and drinks, nice beach and the free snorkeling tour was great. Best points - adult only, relaxed vibe. Good food and nice beach. Room for improvement - the slamming of the hotel doors was a bit annoying. And service sometimes a bit rushed. Relax we are on holidays no need to catch the train to work. Very much recommended and will not hesitate to book it again! Thank you all!

This small boutique hotel definitely met our expectations! We were upgraded to a bang on the beach room & the location & view were superb!!! We opted for full board so all of our meals were included & the standard and choice of food were excellent. We could have gone all inclusive drinks, but for us the $100 AUD per day each was not worth it as we spent less than this during our 7 day stay. The staff were exceptional and I would like to personally thank Yogesh & Rewa for looking after us so well! Special mention to Bavish our roof top bar waiter who was exceptional!!! The only disappointment was we had booked a 5 island trip on the 24th May for my wife’s special birthday with Rishi & I feel we were lied to when we were told the trip was cancelled due to weather (other people went on the trip that day with no issue). Some honesty would have been appreciated!! Other than this, we had an amazing experience & I would highly recommend this resort!!!

Staff were amazing, friendly and in the restaurant very attentive and cleared the plates and tables very quickly. Hotel was quite small but very clean. It wasn’t too busy (May) but there were plenty of staff. All were very good but special mention to Yogesh, Rewa and Bavish (roof top cocktail bar - he was so much fun). We went full board and breakfast was mainly freshly prepared but there were certain items you could self serve. Meal portions were large and enjoyable. Drinks were quite pricey. We enjoyed the choice of food for a week. Our room was Bang on the Beach which was lovely. No bar fridge in the room. Free water top ups too. The chef made an amazing cake for my special birthday. Free canoes, pedalo and glass bottom boat, along with snorkeling. Unfortunately we were disappointed to be told that a trip we had booked through the hotel for my special birthday had been cancelled due to weather on the morning of the trip, even though we knew others had done the same trip the same day with the same company and the next day the weather was worse but the trips went ahead. We would have appreciated honesty in that they could have told us that they had forgotten to book it for us. Rishi was aware of our feelings and did try very hard to win back our favour. Overall would totally recommend
