Sugar Beach Mauritius

this hotel caters for your every need it is relaxing, entertaining and has delicious food beautiful beach

A beautiful hotel with a gorgeous beach and staff who always go out of their way to help you. The rooms are spacious and clean. The food tasted good, but sometimes a little more variety at the breakfast buffet would have been nice. There are a few things that could be improved (paper cups on the beach—the farewell on the day of departure) so that this resort can reach its full potential.

This should have been a 5-star rating. Hotel, beach, rooms, spa, staff,… straight forward 5 *. We were happy to spend our holiday at Sugar Beach Hotel. Especially the service by Nisha at Le Patio made our stay very pleasant! BUT: Unfortunately we had to witness a really big wedding occasion in the resort, which we “enjoyed” 3 days of setting up the location from morning to late evening and after a big celebration at the 4th day, we had to participate the tear down from 5 am at the 5th day. Sea view Room wasn’t no longer one because of several tents used for the wedding. Strong recommendation for a perfect holiday in paradise but be sure there is no event during your stay.

We stayed at **Sugar Beach for 10 days**, and overall, we had a wonderful stay\. Although we had a small issue with our room on the first day, **Stephen at reception was absolutely excellent**\. He listened to us and resolved the problem within minutes, making us feel well looked after\. The room service was outstanding throughout our stay\. Our room, 605/606, was cleaned every day, with fresh towels provided daily\. A big thank you to the housekeeping team for their excellent work\. **Bruno from the restaurant deserves a special mention** — he was simply the best\! His service and attitude made our experience even more enjoyable\. All the team did their very best to make us feel welcome and comfortable\. A huge thank you to Stephen, Bruno, the housekeeping team and everyone at Sugar Beach for their kindness, professionalism and hard work\. It’s the people who make a holiday special, and the team certainly made a difference to ours\. We truly appreciate everything you did for us and will remember our stay fondly\. ❤️🌴

Beautiful location, excellent facilities, very friendly and helpful staff and excellent food. The only small complaint I had was that at breakfast it was unclear if staff should show you to a table (like at dinner) or whether it was just a free for all. It left you feeling a bit awkward, especially at busy times when tables were not that abundant. Other than that, a great stay.
