Sugar Beach Mauritius

My husband and I visited Sugar Beach for a special Anniversary - We had an absolutely wonderful time with the resort being simply stunning. There was a great range of restaurants in the All Inclusive offering, and we found the food to be consistently excellent. What makes the Sugar Beach truly memorable are the wonderful resort staff including Saddul,Christine,Nisha,Stephan,Shiveen, Anuradha, Hurvind and all the other staff we met! During our stay, my husband suffered an injury to his foot, and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful, and changed our accommodation to assist us. This is a wonderful hotel, and would thoroughly recommend to anyone wanting a special holiday! We can’t wait to go back!

Attended a birthday party. The pool was nice. The water was so refreshing. The food was excellent. Good variety of food for kids. Special thanks to Satyam, Vishal and Queensly!!!

Very good Location! The food was excellent, the water activities were great, and the spa—which we paid for separately—was brilliant. I highly recommend a massage with Nisha; she has extraordinary hands and a genuine desire to pamper you during the treatment. Top score for the spa! The atmosphere was pleasant! The room was a bit disappointing; it was stated that we would have a sea-view room, but there were many palm trees in front of the balcony, and we could only catch a glimpse of the sea in one corner.. The cleanliness was okay. However, they would enter the room when you least expected it, without checking the door lock to see if the room was vacant or if we were still inside. We were disturbed many times. If you happen to stay in a small house with many children, like we did, the noise is excessive. Also, the neighbors on the adjacent balcony smoked non-stop, so we could hardly open our window at all. It was annoying. During breakfast or dinner, the waiters barely seemed to notice us.

An absolutely fantastic hotel with incredible service from all the staff! A special thank you to Anuradha, who went above and beyond to help us organize surprises and make our stay even more seamless and enjoyable. She provided us with truly professional and outstanding service, and we are so grateful for her help! I also have to give a huge shoutout to Christian, who makes the fresh juices every morning. To be at the hotel so early in the morning with such genuine happiness, positivity, and energy is truly amazing! He managed to put a smile on not only my face but also on the faces of so many other guests, making sure we all left breakfast in a great mood. He truly deserves all the recognition and appreciation in the world! 12/10 stars! ⭐️

Fantastic family resort. Staff and room excellent. The fifth star is not given due to the surroundings. The further away you got from the main building, the more poor shape the lawns, growth areas etc was kept. Also the cushions in the sunbeds by the adult pool was in poor shape. Not that it had an impact on our vacation per say but we would expect top nudge all the way around in a five star resort. We did have a really great week here.
