Tamassa Bel Ombre, Mauritius

The situation was absolutely terrible. They blocked us from leaving the hotel, refused to call the police, and kept us waiting for almost an hour, even though they knew we were rushing to the airport. They simply said someone on the staff had made a mistake and we had to pay an extra $231, even though that amount had never been mentioned before. It's a scam!

Tamassa resort was fantastic especially thank to the bar team adarsh , siven and pravesh they take good care for us. we will come back soon.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I was glad to see Tamassa after years. My wife had a nice time overthere. We had our Valentine times cherished with dedicated staffs, who, did not fail to assist us. Food wise:⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We enjoy the Indian dishes and the Spring festival lunch. The truck burger remains an icon of attraction as the staffs kept serving us the best delicacies.

Our second visit to Tamassa Bel Ombre, in beautiful Mauritius — and as enjoyable as our first was, nearly ten years before. We returned to help celebrate our daughter's birthday upon arrival — making the trip especially memorable for us. Similar to many previous reviews, the staff at Tamassa were extremely welcoming and kind, and the beachfront location is amazing. The atmosphere is very laid back; there is good variety of food options; and the entertainment does an excellent job balancing fun and relaxation. Although some areas of the hotel (rooms) may appear somewhat aged and while there have been a few instances where it appeared the team was understaffed — I recognize the post pandemic challenges facing all businesses — I personally work in hospitality, and therefore do not wish to be too critical. All things considered, it remains a fantastic resort with a tremendous team, and we are glad we returned to it.

Service provided by Akilesh was incredible. We were treated with kindness and respect from the very beginning, even though we arrived late. His attentiveness made us feel truly welcome and valued. It was my boyfriend’s birthday, and Akilesh went out of his way to ensure it was special—he enjoyed it to the fullest. The thoughtful gestures, professionalism, and genuine care shown throughout our stay made the experience unforgettable. Akilesh’s dedication to excellent service reflects the highest standards of hospitality, and we are grateful for the memorable moments he helped create.
