Bahia Principe Explore Coba

Went to Coba with my husband for our wedding anniversary. We had a wonderful time. Staff, food, grounds, beach and in general the atmosphere was wonderful. Would definitely go back!!!

Great stay at Coba in Bahia Principe - Facilities - Pool and lounges - Food at the buffets and all the snack bars - The staff are absolutely wonderful and the Grounds are simply beautiful.

We are privilege members. Great service, very clean, excellent restaurants, wonderful service. Beautiful property.

We stayed at Coba for the central location. There were a lot of young people with families. The atmosphere was fine with entertainment available if you wanted to partake. Our room was fine and cleaned well everyday For the value this trip was worth the money

I recently stayed at Bahia Principe Coba, and my experience fell far below what I consider acceptable for a resort. I am sharing my personal impressions and observations from my stay. The most disappointing issue was the extreme cost‑cutting visible throughout the property. In my experience, the food quality was consistently poor, and on multiple occasions the buffet simply did not have enough food available. Items ran out and were not replenished, leaving guests with very limited options. What was available often felt low‑quality and inconsistent with what a resort at this price point should offer. Another major problem during my stay was the resort’s decision to sell weekend passes to large numbers of local visitors without increasing food supply or staffing. This resulted in overcrowded restaurants, long waits, and even less food available for paying hotel guests. In my view, this created an environment that felt chaotic and poorly managed. Across the board, I observed cutbacks in service, amenities, and overall upkeep. The resort felt understaffed, stretched, and focused more on volume than on guest experience. Based on what I personally experienced, I cannot recommend Bahia Principe Coba and would not return.
