Catalonia Royal Tulum

Our experience at the swim bar was excellent!! Our bartenders Elias and Willie were the absolute best! Very attentive, great energy and so much fun. They managed to take care of a ton of customers simultaneously. Now the pool bar is a must to stop by for great drinks and great fun because of Elias and Willie!!!

Leonel, Eddie, Diego, Paulina, Lalo are the best entertaiment crew i met the last few years! Thanks for having us. The whole resort is one of the best i ever went!

Just what we were looking for - a low key adults only resort. The pool and beach are gorgeous. The food is good (not great) with plenty of choices at the buffet. Recommend getting food cooked on the grill as the buffestations are otherwise room temp. 4 dinner restaurants (not included Beloved, which is extra$$) have small but adequate menus. The staff are all outstanding - extraordinarily friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend it!

We have been returning quests for numerous years and Catalonia Royal Tulum never disappoints. The employees are the best especially Joseph with guest services. The beach, the views from B’Loved, the drinks and the food are excellent!

First of all, let me start by saying I love this resort. There are 3 distinct zones that all feel different and it just makes the resort work. When you enter, you start off in the reception area where most of the restaurants are as well as the “night club”. After going over a bridge and sanote ,you enter the jungle area where the hotel rooms are. This section feels very secluded and quiet. Even though the buildings are not that far apart, you can barely see them from the walkway.Then when heading to the beach, you walk across a bridge and the mango forest. Resort has one large pool and a beautiful beach. There is the breakfast lunch buffet in this area as well as the loved restaurant if you upgrade to privilege status, which I would recommend beloved is probably the nicest place to eat in the resort because you have the beautiful view of the beach and the nice ocean breeze. The entire resort has a very relaxed vibe, and the customer service is amazing. The resort has the best staff I’ve ever had on a vacation. After the first day, the staff at the buffet remembered us my name every day with our names. There are olnly a few negatives here I rate the food a seven out of 10. A lot of the choices of the faith felt very greasy. The desserts unfortunately were the lowest point to me they are a 2 out of 10. The desserts seam to Faver being fancy rather then tasting good. Ad somebody who love sweets, I skipped desserts most days. The spa was not really worth the time. We had three massages here over two different stays a year apart and from now on we will only go into town for massages. Where they are half the price and much better, and the Hydro circuit is also not really anything to speak of. I would still give this resort a nine out of 10 based on the relaxed atmosphere secluded vibe and incredible staff. Food and spa are really the only points that need to be worked on.
