Luis at the adult pool bar made our holiday even more enjoyable! From the moment we arrived, he greeted us with a smile and provided outstanding service every day. He was friendly, attentive, and always remembered what we liked to drink, making every visit feel personal. His cocktails were fantastic, the service was quick even when the bar was busy, and he always created such a fun, welcoming atmosphere. Luis genuinely goes above and beyond to make sure everyone has a great time, and his positive attitude never goes unnoticed. A huge thank you to Luis for making our pool days so memorable. He’s a real credit to the resort, and we can’t wait to come back and see him again!

This hotel is extremely run down, and the food quality is very poor. The overall condition of the property is dirty and in serious disrepair. Every guest we spoke with shared the same level of dissatisfaction. The resort is clearly understaffed and poorly maintained. At times, only one of the three elevators was operational, resulting in long waits. Everything is limited—from seatingi at the restaurants to chairs around the pools—making it difficult to enjoy the amenities. The children’s pool was especially disappointing. Multiple areas were broken and roped off with caution tape, making much of it unusable. It was also visibly dirty and had a strong sewage odor. Many of the water slides throughout the resort were frequently closed, further limiting the experience for families. Much of the resort had a noticeable septic smell. The bathrooms and pool areas were slippery and felt unsafe, creating a significant safety hazard. It was virtually impossible to secure dinner reservations at any of the restaurants. Room service was equally disappointing—it rarely answered the phone, and when it did, requests often went unanswered or were never delivered. The drinks were also disappointing, often tasting watered down or as though they contained little or no alcohol. Transportation assistance was lacking as well. When we asked about getting transportation, we were simply told to take the local city bus. The concierge was one of the few bright spots, and I would recommend speaking with them directly for any assistance rather than relying on other staff. Overall, it is clear the owner is prioritizing extracting revenue from the property rather than investing in maintenance, cleanliness, or the guest experience. The lack of upkeep, poor service, and limited amenities made this one of the most disappointing resort experiences we’ve had. We were so dissatisfied that we checked out after just two days and paid out of pocket to move to another resort, despite the financial loss. We are hoping Costco Travel will provide at least a partial refund. I would not recommend staying at this property.

Overall brilliant holiday, Veronica in the collage bar is fantastic, met some great people, food was good. We loved our holiday.

We truly enjoyed our time and the service provided. Jose Sandoval at the French restaurant, San Sucis, was exceptional. We appreciated the attention, care and hospitality during our dining experience. The matre d’ even offered to allow us a return visit without a reservation.
