Dreams Riviera Cancún Resort & Spa

We recently spent a week at Dreams Riviera Cancun as part of our eight-week Cancun resort research project, and it quickly became one of our favorite Hyatt Inclusive Collection resorts. The two biggest reasons were the outstanding food and the exceptional staff. Antonio and his food and beverage team consistently delivered some of the best meals we experienced during our two months in Cancun. Portofino and El Patio were our favorite restaurants, and Armando and Chef Eddy made every meal at El Patio a memorable one. Our room was spacious, modern, and extremely comfortable. We especially appreciated the thoughtful layout, with the beds facing the balcony instead of a wall, allowing us to wake up each morning overlooking the beautiful tropical grounds. If your budget allows, we highly recommend booking one of the ground-floor rooms with a private plunge pool. The Fourth of July celebration was another highlight of our stay. The resort put together an incredible poolside barbecue with paella, steak, chicken, fresh coconuts, a margarita bar, followed by evening entertainment, a fire show, and fireworks. It was one of the most generous holiday celebrations we have experienced at an all-inclusive resort. A special thank you to the E team, Antonio for his leadership, Armando and Chef Eddy at El Patio for consistently outstanding meals, and the amazing Coco Café team, who somehow kept the coffee and pastries flowing quickly no matter how long the line became. We also appreciated the countless employees who worked tirelessly every day maintaining the beautiful grounds and keeping the resort looking immaculate. No resort is perfect. We didn't feel the Preferred Club upgrade offered enough value for the additional cost, and unfortunately the sargassum kept us out of the ocean during our stay, but neither issue took away from an otherwise wonderful vacation. Would we return? Absolutely. Dreams Riviera Cancun is a beautiful, well-managed resort with exceptional food, comfortable rooms, and a team of employees who truly care about their guests. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Very good resorts for families. It’s not too big. It’s not too small good size great entertainment. The entertainment team is very good and funny. They keep everyone busy interacting with each other entertained young and old. Good amount of choices for restaurant quality of food is good nice views friendly staff would suggest and recommend we are a of four.

Bordeaux at Dreams Riviera Cancun was hands down the best restaurant experience we've ever had at an all-inclusive resort! The beef medallion was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection, which is something you don't often find. It was prepared medium , exactly as requested. What truly made the evening unforgettable was our server, Esequiel. He was incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming. You can genuinely tell he loves what he does and takes pride in making every guest feel special. His positive attitude and warm smile made our first night at the resort even more enjoyable. We're only staying for four nights, but after this amazing dinner, we're already talking about coming back for another visit. Thank you, Esequiel, for the outstanding service and for making our first evening at Dreams Riviera Cancun such a memorable one. We can't wait to dine at Bordeaux again!

I was very disappointed with my stay at this hotel. The quality of the food was very poor, and the service was below expectations, which I understand may have been due to staffing shortages. Unfortunately, this greatly impacted our overall experience. I have traveled extensively and stayed at many resorts and hotels over the years, and this was by far the worst experience I've had. I hope management addresses these issues so future guests can have a better experience.
