Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya Resort and Spa

My husband and I loved our honeymoon stay at Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya! Omar at Publeto Lindo was an absolutely phenomenal server. He was always friendly and kind. He worked very hard for his guests, sometimes running for his tables! We quickly built a relationship with him and were excited to say hello to him at breakfast every morning! Our concierge was Fabian who took exceptional care of us! He was always available and helped us booked many things! We are very thankful for people like this who made us feel at home, so far from home!

Me and my boyfriend stayed at The Grand Sirenis for 2 weeks. After a rough start with a leaking toilet and having to move rooms, then £100 cash being stolen from our new room by the cleaner, a few particular members of staff made sure we were still happy on our holiday. A massive shoutout to VINCENTE, NAIROBI, and ENRIQUE!!! Vincente and Nairobi were our concierges for block 11 Bacabs. They always went above and beyond, showed genuine interest in our lives, and were always so happy to see us and have a chat every day and were always smiling. Our holiday was made 100 times better by these two. Nairobi made sure we got booked into all the restaurants we needed. Nothing was ever too much to ask. Enrique at Sweet and Salt was always the highlight of our evening. Every evening he would take the time to make us a ‘special cocktail’, asking our flavour preferences and making something up on the spot. These were always the best cocktails we’ve ever tasted anywhere, Enrique knows his flavours!! His incredible passion for what he does always made us smile. We will miss these 3 lovely people, they are an asset to this resort. To note about the stolen cash - slightly our fault as this was left in a zipped backpack, completely forgotten about in between the rush of moving rooms at 8pm on my birthday evening and had forgotten to put in the safe. Although you never expect anyone to go through your belongings and steal. We returned to our room the next day after it had been cleaned and there was exactly £100 missing from the total left in the backpack. Make sure you put EVERYTHING in the safe!! We reported this and it was taken seriously and interviews took place but the culprit was never found. We were offered a 60 minute hydrotherapy at the spa as an apology for the hassle, we took this and it was a nice experience, although didn’t feel enough considering the hydrotherapy would have only cost us £25 each anyway. The experience as a whole was great, we enjoyed all of the restaurants and especially the ice cream and coffee shop. The activities were always fun too, I enjoyed aqua Zumba and Pilates with Daniel. There is always something fun to do in this resort. I would say ignore the negative reviews and go and check it out for yourself because you won’t be disappointed.

Fantastic friendly welcome. Fantastic room, huge space , great decor. Jacuzzi bath and great shower. Free mini bar stocked daily. Room service and cleaned every day. Service everywhere is so amazing.

Armin at the Oishi Teppanyaki was great. He kept the group entertained and the food was cooked to perfection. I highly recommend it.

We've just come back and absolutely loved it. After reading some negative reviews, we were a bit dubious. But we had nothing to worry about. The room we stayed in was quite dated, but was still more than good enough for our stay, was comfy and clean and everything worked, but could definitely do with renivating some of the older rooms. All staff members were friendly and more than helpful, especially our concierges, Pablo, George and Checo. The wildlife here is amazing and there was a small section of beach that was free from sargassum that we were able to do some snorkeling in and seen plenty of fish. The food was lovely and plenty of choice, the al a cartes were all great too. Plenty of choice for cocktails. And having 2 coffee shops in the resort was great. Pools were clean and we didnt have any real issue getting sunbeds, even later in the day. I visited the spa during our stay and my therapist Barbara was amazing and gave me the best massage! All in all we would definitely stay at this hotel again, only small gripe is the dated rooms, but that didnt affect our stay negatively.
